Sorry for not uploading anything in a while, but school have been KILLING ME. I've also been playing Mass Effect like 24/7, heh... But now, all my tests ect are done and i'll be able to upload more again :'D
Anyway, I found this awesome song a while ago and wanted to edit with it. I didn't know which footage i'd use though but I figured that maybe, Zuko's story would fit?
But since they sing like "be a good sister" ect i didn't want to use ONLY Zuko, so i added Azula too. I really hate that character, but she fitted in this vid c:
I also wanted to do a vido with effect simular to the Dark Horse vid since I and u guys seems to like them aalllooootttt :D I played with diffrent pictures instead of text too, and i have to say i LOVE to edit that kind of effects, haha :D

The video is about Zuko and Azulas childhood and the thing that happend to them. It's also about their current situation in life. They don't really want to talk about their background with anyone and tries to keep their family secrets hidden.

I love her so much! As a kid I hated her so much but now I just can't hate her. She was so good at masking her sadness and insecurities that people tend to forget she suffered a lot more than Zuko. Zuko had people who loved him since he was a child but Azula only had Ozai who never really loved her and made her into a monster. Thanks to that she doesn't understand anything other than war and manipulation. And I'll say it for the nth time, AZULA WAS NOT BORN CRAZY AND EVIL , HER MIND WAS CORRUPTED AT 5 BY HER FATHER!

Azula and Zuko deserve a happy childhood. (and azula deserve a happy ending)
This is really well done, flows so well.
Though I duno how you can possibly hate Azula especially after her facade started to crumble and we finally saw her insecurities. Cause fundamentally she and Zuko are the same. Both wanted to be recognized and loved. Zuko was loved by everyone who mattered but wanted to be loved by Ozai, Azula had Ozai's "love" but wanted to be loved by the rest, mostly Ursa.
What made them different is that Ozai ignored Zuko so he was taught how to be good by Iroh and Ursa. Azula was ignored by Iroh and Ursa but taught by Ozai that being bad is good. Swap key people around and Zuko would be Azula. He did burn villages down in season 1 even with Iroh's and Ursa's guidance. Zuko was far from perfect and Azula is far from being ultimate evil.
They are two sides of the same coin.

That may be true, bit i still prefer Zuko over Azula since i see her as a really manipulative person, and she seems to have been that way from the very beginning so i guess that why her mother didnt like her as much as Zuko, or rather, Azula didnt think she loved her as much.

I would agree with that if not for Zuko's statement in season 3. He admitted that 4 of them used to have normal family before but then things changed. Most likely after Azula started to bend and both Ozai and Ursa favored one of the kids. What implies that Azula wasn't always that bad.
Also going by Search comic, there is a panel where Ursa and Zuko are having fun time and Azula quietly follows behind. No a single glance is spared in her direction. Ursa only notices her after Azula puts flowers on fire. The only way Azula ever seemed to get Ursa's attention was by misbehaving.
Putting it from Azula's perspective she either behaves and loses Ursa's attention and Ozai's support, or follows his teaching and acts mean what gives her full approval from Ozai and attention from Ursa, even if negative.
Azula earned far more by being mean.
The way I see it is that Ursa completely neglected her at first and when she finally started to make some sort of effort, it was already late.

Well, idk, i just dont like Azula as much as Zuko (and i havent read the comic yet), and idk if something would make me change my mind x'D
***** Well the thing with Zuko is that we saw all of his struggles from his perspective and memories. That's what made us feel for him and go "Aaaww, he is just confused".
However, we have never seen Azula's struggle from her perspective. Everything we know about Azula is from someone's else memory, mostly Zuko's. And Azula has been putting up a façade for most of her life, Zuko would never know what was really going on.
Heck, even we didn't know until she started to slip.
Azula is in strong need of a comic book or something that looks at her life from her eyes just like Zuko because clearly her life was not as perfect as we all though at first.
Like don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to force you to like her. But word "hate" is just too strong for my taste.
Like you can hate Ozai, he never showed any positive qualities but Azula... she is different. Not liking her feels a bit more reasonable.
Well, as i said, you may be right and everything, but i still hate her. It doesnt matter if she's a good/bad character because i hate some "good" or whatever characters in other animes, so yeah, it doesnt matter, I just dont like the way she acted and therefore, i prefer Zuko.
Honeslty I feel so bad for Azula and Zuko. They never got the chance to be normal kids, or even have a good relationship with one another. What's really tragic is the fact that even while Azula was slipping away from sanity and hated Zuko, you could still see him feel remorse for her. They both care about each other, but their childhoods were way too messed up.
Hopefully in the future comics they will have a good relationship 🥺….GOD I HATE OZAI 🤬
I've watched this video a few times now and this is really good. The end especially when it says "I see things that nobody else sees" and then it flashes to Zuko and Azula's eyes. They both have seen what goes on in this family and you did a great job of showing that. They both know how screwed up their family is, even though they have different perspectives as people. I mean, in season 3, Azula does multiple things that show she is fully aware of how dangerous Ozai and the wrong kind of attention from him can be. This vid is a good analysis of that.
