- This trip we went vacationing to Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco Mexico. We took a ten hour trip and we caught the first marlin of the year out of this landing. The Blue Marlin was about 300lbs and it would of won last years tournament (the captain said). The biggest fish on Robs Fishing Channel EVAR!! Link to boat/landing masterbaiters.c... . +Maureen Myers The tail got wrapped up in the fight and it basically couldnt get enough water through it's gills to get enough oxygen in its blood stream.
Shouldn't have killed it rookies. The fishery is nowhere near what it used to be.
