But the meaning of the song i guess is that appearances can be deceptive and that you can't go by appearances. He's referring to himself as the geek in the pink and this song is probably aimed at a girl to let her understand she could be surprised he she gave him a chance. "Don't judge it by the colour, confuse it for another, you might regret what you let slip away" And yes, there are also sexual innuendos as mentioned above.

They ground the heart out of the music.

yeah just looked em up, their cover seems to emulate the jason and toca version which i like better anyway...i think that performance happened in korea too, so maybe thats how they got inspired to cover it. their english could improve, but they are very good.
