Plain weave linen canvas works best, Irish Linen is good but any linen coat canvas will do. You can use the horsehair canvas in the chest area and layer it with some domette or fleece to avoid the prickliness of the horse hair.

Can I use linen fabrics as interfacing in suit jacket ?
