Thank you for the step by step, I managed to find my clog and fix it!
The issue that brought me here is different. The motor disconnected itself and let the water pour onto the floor! The "friction fit" grommet let the motor slip out.
Thanks for the clear video of how to do the normal replacement. It gives me a place to start. I think I'll just clean the surfaces and maybe rough up the plastic pump neck to increase the grip.
This guy was very thorough and helped me to get this done right after failing the first 2 times. Having the dishwasher upside down and taking out the seal before installing helped. Thanks you so much!!!
Thanks so much!!! One of the best how to's that I have seen.
Good job Steve. I had power, but no action. Thx.
Thank you. I got stumped trying to figure out how to remove that circulation pump.
Your video was helpful, thank you.
It worked! Thanks so much for the clear instructions!
What size clamp do you need for this? I need a new clamp, but can’t seem to get the right size.
Why does Kenmore sell a dishwasher for $1,000 that breaks down within two years?
Try a Samsung refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer all have been fixed and repaired with in 2 years and replaced within 3 years.
Washed cloths for a while in my shop that has an Maytag set from the early 70’s! Run like they were bought yesterday!
Same with mine. 650$ to replace motor plus labor not including tax lol never buying kenmore
This business plan (inferior quality) started in the late 60s in the automotive industry and quickly spread to 99.9% of our manufactured goods. As bad as that is what most people fail to realize is that these same industries began sourcing the cheapest quality and lowest priced imported parts from abroad. We have made fun and insulted Asian made goods as being garbage quality, and they were, exclusively by design. When they were sourced and specked by these industries. They could have imported much better quality goods that were the norm from these countries but insisted on the inferior quality because of the higher markups and frequent replacement. My uncle fought tooth and nail for years and resisted other VPs at GM when he saw the intended direction that the big 3 auto makers were headed. He was a lifelong GM employee who worked his way from the floor to a Corporate VP of quality control. He predicted over 50 years ago that the automotive industry was only the beginning that this would be the norm. We live in a throw away society. Sadly
Thanks so much. Might have to do this as my washer ain't washing. (Who's genius idea was it to make "built in" appliances? Every time I wrestle/repair an appliance in and out I want to go back in time and kill him with a shovel)
Til it bottoms ooot
