00:30 I think That "Unki" is a part of 雲騎軍 which is the Cloud Knight. Not the other words. He is saying "Cloud Knight Victory" as he is the general, like the "Xianzhou Victory" line. These line are "To Victory" and "For the Xianzhou" in English respectively

Just like in Belebig, the only person who "truly" serverd qlipoth the preservation is Gepard with preservation Path.
People can be aligned to a path in their own ways, it seems. Jing Yuan is an Erudition type due to being a rational strategist who sweeps mobs, but it's also to serve The Hunt and the Xianzhou at large. And then there are people like Gepard that have aims, personalities *and* gameplay reflect Preservation.
I’m pretty sure it’s just for gameplay purposes. We have pela as nihility and fu xuan as preservation which doesn’t make sense.

@@taiyakikazuha5518Fu Xuan as Preservation is fitting. Preservation basically loves ORDER and LAW, and Fu Xuan is such a stickler for rules, like Gepard.
Also, Divination in Xianzhou is like math or physics which use the world’s Order and Law to predict something, like Law of Causality and such.

I played this game on double speed and i gotta say the voicelines in the phantylia battle were sooo much better in the EN. Especially "vanqiush the abomination"

Isn't this confirmed that character's path in lore and gameplay are different? He claimed he is the vanguard of the hunt, then he must have the hunt path in lore.
the arrow is one of the allies of the alliance, the aeon of hunter hates abundance and it was he who knocked down the tree of abundance, but he cannot destroy it, the people who call themselves "arrow" follow this aeon and its ideology while detesting the aeon's abundance because they consider its immortality a curse
There are plenty of characters whose in game lore aren't matched with their playable character's path. I mean... take all the destruction characters, for example. None of them follow Nanook, but they still exist as Destruction units. The Tingyun we knew (Phantylia) is a Lord Ravager of Destruction, but we play her as a Harmony unit. Neither Pela and Bronya are Preservation units, despite their planet following the path of Preservation.
Almost all of the playable characters have different paths as a playable character than the paths of the Aeon they follow. It's most likely for gameplay balancing purposes, but the path also reflects their personality and playstyle.

The easiest to look at it is this guys:
There is a different of "being blessed by a Path" and "following a Path"
In this case although JY is following Lan of The Hunt, he is blessed by Nous of The Erudition.
The actual gameplay paths follow a traditional DnD class system, you just replace Warrior with Destruction, Erudition with Mage and so on, the actual path the characters reside on is based on their planet, like how Bronya follows Preservation but is a buffer, so she's just harmony

from my personal experience, he still has different voicelines when you use your own Jing Yuan vs Story Phantylia
He still uses the different quotes, I know since my JY was better than the trial, but unfortunatelly, he does not say it on Echo of War
His voice lines change just for the story mode fight.

He's Erudition by role, personality, and gameplay, but it's ultimately to serve The Hunt and the whole of Xianzhou. People can follow a certain aeon in their own ways, it seems, like how most others do (for character uniqueness and balancing purposes). There are also characters like Gepard that have their roles, personalities, and gameplay all align.
