*Hey guys - so turns out I had a dingbat moment (hard to believe.. I know..) the reason I didn’t see theater seating as an available option was because IT’S ACTUALLY STANDARD!! LOLOLOL* _-Uncle Josh the Dingbat_
This is by far the best couples camper I have seen to date! Pantry AND trashcan space AND a bathroom worthy of chili night. It's the Travel Trailer Trifecta! Happy to see on the GD site, theater seating is standard and the trifold is optional. Since I don't like overnight guests, I don't want anywhere comfy for them to get the idea 😉. Two things I think I would change. One is the bedside storage. I would prefer a cutout in or shelf behind the closet. Second is I would like an option for a table instead of the dinette.
I am VERY happy with the trifold sofa! Don’t want fireplace here in Louisiana, don’t need it! I would be very happy with this one!!! We are 3-4 person campers and I love this one.
I love the bathroom. I wish some of the shorter options had a bathroom like that. I would drop the open storage area in the bathroom and expand the shower a bit. I would add theater seat for sure.
Josh, we truly love this RV. We love that kitchen slide and all those drawers and cabinets. It’s an amazing thing!!! This rocketed to the top of our list. We thought we had one picked already then we saw this. We may make a 525 mile trip to buy one and maybe meet you.
I was dead set on finding a camper to fit my tahoe, but darn it Josh, this thing has me looking at trucks now. I love this floor plan. Not perfect, but best I've seen so far, and nothing that I couldn't live with
I am pretty much set on a small 5th wheel but this actually makes me rethink that. I like everything (really rare) except for two things, which you've pointed out: dark(ish) colour and the need to lean forward to use the stove, especially the back burner. A theater seat option would be really nice. Thanks for doing such a great top reviewing this TT.
This R.V. Has everything that I want in a r v , can use booth and sofa and everything else is in the slide and a private bedroom, everything can be in use with out the slide out , I am planning to buy one them this summer, this beats all of ones that I have been looking at for the last two years
This is a great camper. I love the layout. I like that theater seating is available. So much storage, a fantastic kitchen. I see why you need your vacation.
Thanks for this great video. We bought a 2022 260RB from another dealer sorry it wasn't from Bish's but you're along way from us. Anyway we love it!!!! Keep up the great work you are very helpful in all your videos.
Great review. The only thing I see that would have been a very nice extra would be if the awning went all the way to the rear. Looks like it could have been another 18"-24".
They only tings i could change and there is next nothing in that category. I would put backsplash all around the stove. It wouldn’t brake long for the side of the tv / closet get splashed. Then it would look bad. The other is a door on the bathroom storage. I use a walker and this one definitely fits the bill. Wow it’s absolutely amazing. Thanks Josh. Grab a cup of Mud and wake up lol . Have a great day. Blessings from Gettysburg Pa…
I love road mode in this one! I also love the front cap with no window since our county likes to chip seal the roads. I'm not a big fan of the open shelving although I really like the bathroom space otherwise. The other complaints I have are fairly nitpicky, for instance, I'd love a shelf behind the bedside closet because those just look so handy, perfect place for my glasses and charging my tablet while reading my e-book.
Josh, you are correct as usual, the only thing I would even think about changing is the theater seats, but the sleep sofa is not a deal breaker. Thanks for a beautiful RV.
Both my wife and I agree that this is an amazing design! Love all the windows and the road mode. Its a little long for my taste, so I hope that in coming years GD applies this to shorter models. My two complaints: cabinet doors in bathroom (stuff will be everywhere) and disjointed kitchen. At the very least, switch the fridge and stove. And a minor nitpick... that light in the pantry seems great for the top shelf but not much else. I wish they'd put an LED strip down a side or under each shelf, if they feel the need to do anything. Great video, emperor!
@@JoshtheRVNerd I would reduce the bed to RV Queen, remove part of the bathroom counter so it's more "traditional" and turn the shower so that you can shorten the bathroom. That bathroom would be great for full timers, but if I'm only using it for trips then more compact would be fine. Finally, if you really want to get jiggy with it, you could center the wall with the sink and reduce it to 1 counter, creating a second "entry" to the bedroom, then you could push it flush with bed. I know, makes for cramped quarters, but refer to my full timer comment. =) I'm no RV designer... but i play one on youtube. =}
The toe-kik slide is a great benefit in my opinion. The vinyl doesn't roll up and doesn't get holes poked in it. It may be a bit of an inconvenience over the floor-flush slide but the fact remains that the floor-flush slide is not completely flush and you tend to have to put down rugs and still have to lean into the slide. So I'd prefer the toe-kick slide. In addition to that the room doesn't have to do the escalator thing to sit down into the slot when it's out and then doesn't have to go back up hill to be pulled in. It is so much easier on the motor and you won't burn it out trying to lift the refrigerator. It is a huge deal. Far better than the floor flush slide. Great video!!! This is a Bishin trailer... Yup, it's Bishin...
I hadn't really thought of it that way.. TY Pat! :) Trying to remember back and as I recall I THINK your first love on our channel was Open Range was it not?
@@JoshtheRVNerd You most certainly are correct. I spoke with one of your salesman at Haylett in 2017 for about a month. We had bad credit and had to trade in our previous trailer because we were upside down. We just couldn’t find a way to make it work. But we did end up finding one near my parents house and got a great rate on financing at the 1st Bank of Mom. And they actually gave us money on our trade; not much but it made it worth the trip to trade it in. But yes, we love the open range with the exception of the floor that won’t lay down. My wife and I have both fallen after tripping on the rolled up vinyl.
Like this. 💜 "Buffalo Print" is very southwestern and I like this. It can be a theme. And, I use a electric heater which has fake flames. And, 👍like the bed because only requirement is ability to walk around bed so easier to put on off bedding.
Theatee seat convertible and kitchen window and side splashes all around sink and oven please!!! Thank you. Awesome job as usual uncle Josh! May the force be with you... I couldn't think of an RV related word
Fridge and pantry in place of the sink, sink and a window beside the stove, and this would be perfect! Definitely on my list for an upgrade though! I have a 221RB at the moment and love it!
OK Josh.... I really like this one... and, the over all kitchen storage, and the kitchen slide is executed nicely in this model, but I do wish the stove and frigerator were swapped so that the stove was closer to the sink. Maybe, they could push the counter and the stove out to the edge of the slide more so that there wouldn't be the worry of the leaning over the stove. I'd also like to see them make the bedroom TV spot be actually on the wall at the foot of the bed, but ehhh, no biggie there. The bathroom is so large and in charge with a nice sized shower!!! Over all, I'm impressed with this one!!!
Hey Josh, in the bathroom the cubbies hold towels very well and they don't fall out. 2 towels rolled up side by side work well. Also in bedroom i mounted a fan and it works well too
NOW THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN ASKING FOR the past 2 YEARS PUT THE KITCHEN IN THE SLIDE of a travel trailer Thank you Josh! Set a fireplace in there under the TV and auto leveling and we'll take it 😂 that is a home run if they had one a little bit bigger or not with an outside kitchen that would knock it out of the park for us that is. The wife loves it.
I like this one it is a great couple trailer. Love the bathroom but I would like to move that open storage in the bathroom and make the shower larger. I love the in travel mode. That makes it even better. I could be very happy with this one. Thanks for the videos and stay safe in your travels. 💜🦋
We v bought the same one but last years (2021) model. Live in it full time and love it! Super roomie! The only thing we wish it has is more usb plugs it only has one in the bedroom. Other than that it is awesome
Glad Grand Design picked this one up. Keystone Outback did this floorplan from 2019-2021, but the 280urb never really caught on. Glad to see it here in Transcend clothing! GD should do free standing dinette option.
I really love this floorplan, I wish they made it without the slide though, as that's my only hard no on the RV I'm looking for. Thank you for your great videos by the way, very informative.
I have a 2016 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB. We are a couple and absolutely love it. My only complaint is you can't get to the bedroom while the slide is closed. This design fixes that, I am impressed. Other thing in my rig - the thermostat is in the bedroom so if you left the A/C on when you left camp and have the slide closed, you can't get to the thermostat until the slide is open. This new Transcend looks like they put the thermostat in a place not too easy to get to when the slide is closed. And I agree with you Josh, I would want the theater seats in this thing. We have them in the Imagine and they recline nearly full flat and are super comfortable! Have fell asleep watching the TV in these many a camp night.... thanks for the review! We LOVE Grand Design and are customers for life :-)
I love the see thought glass with the shade as well in the door but the issue with the shade is putting it up and down with the screen door in the way, they need to make the top screen retractable.
Thank you for finally reviewing one of these. I think this floor plan does just about everything right. I never really noticed the ceiling height, but I'm only 5'7" so....... I have always seen these with theater seats so not sure what's going on there.
This is why I love gd they do things differently but execute it very well. For a stick in tin and with one slide this has been one I've liked for a bit now, feels bigger then it is. One picky thing would be the awning I think moving it behind that front window makes more sense but I'd still buy it👍👍
This one is what we were looking to upgrade to. Wonderful layout. And, we travel with a cat. Down side of traveling with a cat,, is where to put the litter box.. There is room in the bathroom for that. And no carpet.
Vacation was amazing OTHER than the fact our flight was cancelled after delays. So wife and I embarked upon a good old American family road trip and powered thru the night to make it happen
I think they should’ve flipped the stove & the sink, you always need a window when doing the dishes! 😉 I prefer the trifold, & love the camp side windows! Nice info!
When I first read your suggestion I though, ya, that’s a good idea. But when you think about it, the type of slide they’ve used forces you to lean forward for whatever they put in it. So I think it would be less annoying to have the stove in the slide. With the sink where it is, you can get closer to it and personally I don’t think you spend as much time constantly in front of the stove when cooking vs when doing the dishes. So less ache in your back.
I’ve had a hybrid TT with the kitchen sink in the slide out so it doesn’t matter whether you have the sink or the (propane) stove in the slide out. They use flexible hoses for either one.
This is a nice unit, Only thing I'd change is a theatre seat. It says there is an option for it on the pic you show so are you sure it can't happen? Or is this a shortage thing?
Hello, ummmm, Sir, its CLEAR u needed coffee here, lol...the floorplan u showed at the beginning says theater seat, optional trifold, yet in your points of consideration you write no theater seating...we GOTTA get u a keurig...lol. I like the layout. Another fine job on your part young man. Thank You
This is awesome. I like how if you wanted to you could customize the sitting area. Party sofa, table/chairs, recliners. One little hiccup I need it to be a couple inches taller. Definitely a 9.5 out of 10 on execution.
Also, new model idea -- I don't know how much length they would need to add, but take that floor plan and lengthen it enough to turn the bed east/west, then make the front full-width storage (maybe add washer/dryer prep?)... Otherwise as-is, I would ditch the shower-side storage and fill all that space with shower. Maybe sacrifice some of that bathroom counter for full-height storage on one side of the sink? That's a ton of bathroom counter space! I could survive with about half that much.
If the cabinets beside the bed come all the way down to the bed I’m not liking it. I need my tossing and turning room .I’m not a restful sleeper at all.I can’t sleep on my back. I think it’s called gecko style sleeping position. I usually have an arm or a leg hanging over the bed a bit.and I don’t mind short Queen cause I gotta hang my toes over the foot of the bed too. And no tuck lol.I’m just a bit fussy….lol And if I don’t get a nice sleep Not happy camper lol Your the best source of rv info on UA-cam Josh . We just bought a used 2013 jayflight 28bhs and we’ve been binge watch lol. Thanks👍
Oh I do like this unit! It has one of the best layouts I have seen so far. Period! While the outside looks like I am watching a black and white TV show, there is an easy fix for that. Run a 3 inch reflective tape stripe all the way around it in either red, yellow, blue, orange or green just to add a dash of color. I would place the stripe in the center of that black belt line stripe that runs down the side. I would also consider adding a 2nd solar panel to the roof for that extra power benefit. Another feature I would change after it comes home, is to swap out the black wheels for some chrome spoke wheels or some white wheels with dog dish hubcaps. (Not baby moons, but the flattish ones) There is a bit to much brown on the inside, but some decorating can mute that. I love the sliding door and huge well laid out bathroom. I would like to see one of those mail slot windows in the slider above the kitchen window. But not really sure that would be doable. The access to this trailer in road mode is fantastic! This is probably best pulled by a 3/4 ton or up truck or suv in my opinion.
Nice! Yes, a lighter color, please! I would swap the refrigerator next to the pantry, this way the stove/countertop would be closer to the sink/countertop for food prep. The way it is the distance would seem a bit much. Yea, I think your toes will kick the slideout lip, I guess the reason why toe kicks are underneath the countertop area in a residential kitchen. Maybe bringing the countertops out flush with the lip on the slide floor might help. Couch/theater seat, eh, I would take a workspace area or maybe give the option to delete and space for dog crates. Or... push the kitchen to the front of the trailer and make a rear bedroom / mid bath trailer. Personally, it's nicer to have the bath attached to the bedroom for changing and getting ready for the day and night. Thanks for the videos.
I think the reason the kitchen arranged this way is because it is the same layout that is used in other models. Such as our 337 RLS 5th and it cousin in the large TT floorplan which have a center island because they have opposing slides. I agree in this floorplan the stove needs to be where the frig is for the counter top handinesss. The kitchen toe kick does not bother us as we spend very little time at the stove/ micro.
We bought this model April 25th and have used it 4 weekends now and have had no issue with the slide lower floor lip. We have the Furrion 12 volt gloss black frig. with lots of storage space and the theater seats and we really love the 260RB. PS. we installed polished Aluminum wheels and that really improved the outside look.
love the restroom layout with that cabinet and counter space. The kitchen slide: they should have moved the oven and cabinets flush with the slide and left more counter space behind them. There is a reason all kitchens have toe kicks on the cabinets. OMG - they nailed it with road mode.
I love this layout w windows facing campsite. Ive seen too many driver sides facing roads. I also agree and have thought the stove cabinets could be slid to edge of slideout to address the toe kick/trip. open cabinets need doors and could be lighter....however you cant beat this laout and roadmode functionality.
Transcend makes my favorite floorplan ever (240ml). But this might have to replace it only because of the size of the bathroom. I was just getting ready to comment about how as a disabled person who sometimes uses a wheelchair but has very limited mobility this bathroom would work for me quite well and you actually made the comment about it being close to ADA compliant. There is enough room in the shower to put a chair down for someone to sit on if there was only a way to put some type of a shower bar either inside the shower unit or outside to assist with getting in and out of the shower it would be perfect. Using a small travel chair you could likely wheel up to the bathroom sink. Grand Design just does such an awesome job with their RV's. I agree I would love to see theater seats in this model as well as an option for a table and chairs rather than a dinette but I understand that their target market is not higher end RV shoppers. True, GD needs to really look at doing some lighter interior options. I'm okay with dark cabinetry but it would really be awesome to have at least a mid-tone taupe or tan or even beige fabrics/leathers. Of course having the option for white cabinetry or a farmhouse decor would be awesome for me personally I know that's not everyone's taste but at least have some choices so it's not brown on brown and brown on brown on brown and brown on brown on and then some more brown.
You won’t hear me argue about that 240ML. Really enjoyed covering it here m.ua-cam.com/video/gQ-VH1lJU9E/v-deo.html I would be totally on board with a lighter decor option
I don't really have a preference between stick and tin or fiberglass. I think what sold us on the Transcend was the Floorplan (240ml) and we love it.Grand design does take of their customers the other reason we chose them. Our cubbies in the bathroom and cupboards all.in the back of the camper have rode really well so far while traveling. I haven't had anything fall out or move much .It does seem odd about no theater option in the 260 rb. Hope you can do a video on the new no slide Transcend 255 FK model just curious about floorplan. Thanks Josh for all you do
Nailed it! Give me the exact layout in a small 5th wheel. Give me theater seats and something other than that pedestal table. Really impressed with the bathroom and overall layout. Kitchen storage is killer. I am not a fan of the stick and tin "look" but they make it look much more "classy" with the color scheme and graphics. Full travel mode? Wow! No floor vents? Wow! Maybe I missed it but us a 2nd air available? Again, excellent layout.
Boy Josh, that sure is well done. A slide out cutting board next to the stove would be cool. But hey, I've watched you so much now that we're practically family, so this Sunday's chicken dinner is at 6pm. 😁😁😁 Hey tho, did I miss you say your filming location? Be kinda cool to know and maybe see short pic on the countryside. Thanks.
Man for a stick and tin they checked alot of boxes. My two knocks are , lose the gravy brown interior and offer theatre seats. The super slide functionality when it's retracted is unbelievable. I don't believe I've seen a 5th wheel or TT be that accessible in travel mode. Impressive bathroom as well people under estimate the need for elbow room in a bathroom for both couples or families. This one is a very nice mid entry TT . Well done " Emperor " as always great review, thanks for making my choice harder with each passing video. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
It's amazing what they have done to this RV. Yes, I love the brown. There is enough white or whatever color the walls . Great lighting . It looks a lot bigger. I would rather have theatre seats. The sofa would not be a deal breaker.
I really like it. I'd like to see this Floorplan in a higher in model. As for as doors on the bathroom closet. It wouldn't be hard to build some. Same as over the bed.
This is a 👍👍👍👍inside & outside, what no under bed storage 🤣🤣. Josh have you seen a Puma stick & tin TT hit in the right rear just past the rear axles from an angle at 70 mph?
Well I'd lose the dinette all together and slide that sofa down and put a theater seat across from the TV. That is an impressive floorplan with plenty of counter space and storage in the kitchen.
What an amazing floor plan. Just when you think no one could do anything unique! King option and we would have seriously considered it as an option to the 253rb. Bathroom is fantastic except for ceiling height. Price is pretty easy on the wallet too.
I am one of those folks that struggles with the kitchen toe kick slide. The cooking angle becomes uncomfortable for me. I love the storage doors and entry door matching decals and aluminum colors. I haven't had any issues with the bathroom open storage shelves.
Checked this model out just last week and theater seats are an option! This one took us completely by surprise as we can get everything we were looking for in a Winnebago, Venture or Imagine for over $20,000 less without losing the warranties and customer service. Win. Win. Win. For is.
I do love the layout!!! You mentioned in your video that there might be other floor plans like this one but in laminated or aluminum framed travel trailers, any chance you could share other ones with this same floor plan?
@@JoshtheRVNerd no worries at all… I actually found another one that I really love and was wondering if you’ve done a video on it… it’s called the 2023 Keystone Bullet Premier 25RKPR. I love that this trailer has opposing slides and windows on the driver and passenger sides which creates a lot of brightness. I think it’s also just under 30’ in exterior length. Any videos or perspective you can share on this specific trailer would be greatly appreciated. 😀
Great floorplan!! It's begging for the theater seat upgrade/option. I'd happily pay extra for it in real American money (for what it's worth). That's a very workable floorplan that they managed to fit in that length!
I like this one and I don't usually like the smaller ones a few things I'd want to change but I like the entertainment and kitchen storage and I like the bathroom storage and space in the bathroom I definitely wish the couch was lazy boy though
@@JoshtheRVNerd I believe I heard you say something about theater seating and about something your not sure or something like that I believe at the time I was partially listening I should pay more attention to what you say I need to turn the volume up more when watching these videos
@@JoshtheRVNerd ok I just remembered hearing theater seating but someone else was talking to me when I remembered hearing those words so it was just difficult to get every word from my end when someone else is talking
Very nice unit. I totally love the way this is laid out as a couples camper. And your right that there is something different about the siding on these trailers that just adds a real touch of class. The stove and fridge need to be flipped. As is the cooking area is annoyingly spread out and it doesn’t have to be. I’d also pull the stove out flush with the edge of the slide. That couple of inches could really make a difference on how comfortable it is to cook in the kitchen. GD on their web page shows theater seats as standard and the trifold as an option. Is that wrong? The bathroom needs doors over a lot of those open cabinets. And no outlets in there at all in a couples camper?? That really needs to be fixed. My other nit to pick is that it’s a 30A electrical service. I feel like a trailer this size especially in stick and tin needs the option of a second AC. Plus as I’ve argued before it’s all too easy to overload a 30A circuit on almost all modern trailers.
Lot of people have talked about the fridge/stove being flipped And yeah - I biffed the theater thing. It's actually STANDARD which is why I couldn't find it in the options list LOL
@@JoshtheRVNerd ok here is my professional opinion as someone who deals with and manages fatigue. Your seat and camera biff? Classic fatigue symptoms. You’ve talked about being tired. By the time you talk about it your already exhausted and fatigued. If you haven’t already take some time off. You don’t have to review every single RV Bish sells in two weeks.

TY Pat! :)
Trying to remember back and as I recall I THINK your first love on our channel was Open Range was it not?
Really nice travel trailer. Very well thought out. I personally like the sofa. More room for family to come along!😊
We agree!
😆 "where the camera?!"
Love it!
Felt so stupid
But you know you’ve done stuff like that
WHERES MY KEYS?! (In my hand)
I'm usually asking where my sunglasses are when they're on top of my head. 😆
Good enough for me!!
Bedroom TV:
Have to check the path of the sliding door. Would probably hit it.
I agree with the flip.
Ditto. But No electric outlet in 3 mirror bathroom! Not for me!!!
This TT is really nice! I even like the brown colors! Yes I agree with you about theater seats!
Hey Josh, in the bathroom the cubbies hold towels very well and they don't fall out. 2 towels rolled up side by side work well. Also in bedroom i mounted a fan and it works well too
AWESOME! Thank you for sharing this! :)
Fantastic review!! This is a great trailer and design. Thank you for sharing!!
This one was truly my pleasure
Just bought the 2023 model. 1st time buyer. Need to get in it and see how it goes. Josh is the man!
Wow TY Danny! Mind dropping me a quick thank you note at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review in return for the helping hand?
Wow. This is definitely a favorite. This trailer is gorgeous.
Love the mirror shot LOL! Keep up the great work.
lol :)
This one really hit it for me as well
this layout is one of my favs. XLS23RBE is my fav between the 2.
Will watch for that one
@@JoshtheRVNerd can't wait tell you review Outdoors rv. Especially the toy haulers.
If I had to complain about something Josh. No propane cooker hooker or outside kitchen/ Griddle. But all in all a very nice floor plan. It works!
Check this out - works around a lack of cooker hooker
@@JoshtheRVNerd Was there a link here that got dropped? Looking for a work around for the lack of cooker hooker. Thanks!
I like this one it is a great couple trailer. Love the bathroom but I would like to move that open storage in the bathroom and make the shower larger.
I love the in travel mode. That makes it even better. I could be very happy with this one. Thanks for the videos and stay safe in your travels. 💜🦋
Ty Denise!!!
Yay! Tcl roku! My favorite! I love mine! Now make it a bit bigger.😯😀🤣🤣
Their TVs do seem to be on the small side
Looked at one today. Absolutely amazing. Alot of thought put in building this trailer.
We v bought the same one but last years (2021) model. Live in it full time and love it! Super roomie! The only thing we wish it has is more usb plugs it only has one in the bedroom. Other than that it is awesome
I am a USB fiend so that sounds good to me!!
I am in love with the floor plan. Only thing is my husband wishes the outside was smooth sides.
I'm not aware of a laminated builder making this layout. I think outback USED to do something like it, but I don't see it in their lineup currently
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you for checking!
Glad Grand Design picked this one up. Keystone Outback did this floorplan from 2019-2021, but the 280urb never really caught on. Glad to see it here in Transcend clothing! GD should do free standing dinette option.
Yep yep! I always wanted to review that one but never had the opportunity. I like what Outback does and how they're so willing to be different
I really love this floorplan, I wish they made it without the slide though, as that's my only hard no on the RV I'm looking for. Thank you for your great videos by the way, very informative.
I think it could actually be done..
Floor plan is great!
First…love all your content! And I really love this layout!!! The color doesn’t bother me, I like it👍❤️
I thought this unit was pretty much a home run
Love this 260rb
We LOVE Grand Design and are customers for life :-)
Theater seats do appear to be available btw. Somehow I missed that I guess. And ty John!!
You’ve seen them with theater seats because it’s STANDARD… which is why I couldn’t see it listed under the OPTIONS lol
🤦♂️
This is why I love gd they do things differently but execute it very well. For a stick in tin and with one slide this has been one I've liked for a bit now, feels bigger then it is. One picky thing would be the awning I think moving it behind that front window makes more sense but I'd still buy it👍👍
I do give credit to Outback for first pioneering this concept but I haven't really seen that one take off
We have this same camper, it’s great!!
Love this layout
Awesome floor plan. Thanks for sharing Josh👍👍
WOW! This is exactly what we need with the Hide a Bed Sofa! If only it had the 6'9" interior height!
I’m surprised someone hasn’t cloned this layout yet
Really like this innovative floorplan but agree that theater seating would be an improvement.
Turns out it’s standard and I am just an idiot lol
for a small camper..thats pretty nice. bathroom really should be by bedroom though. love the bigger bathroom...
Great design and floor plan. I like it!
Just jumped to my personal top 5
Definitely needs the theater seat option! Love my recliner! :)
Turns out theater is available and I am just… blind? Idk
This one is what we were looking to upgrade to. Wonderful layout. And, we travel with a cat. Down side of traveling with a cat,, is where to put the litter box.. There is room in the bathroom for that. And no carpet.
We have a 2020 transcend and the first thing we did this year was swap the frosted glass door with the Thin Shade replacement window.
Curious - how much was that??
@@JoshtheRVNerd $91 and change on amazon. Took me less than hour to swap.
Awesome layout! I like the flipped floorplan with the camp side windows. Bath and kitchen are great! Did you have a restful fun vacation?
Vacation was amazing OTHER than the fact our flight was cancelled after delays. So wife and I embarked upon a good old American family road trip and powered thru the night to make it happen
I think they should’ve flipped the stove & the sink, you always need a window when doing the dishes! 😉 I prefer the trifold, & love the camp side windows! Nice info!
I second that. Swap stove and sink and put a window in the sinks new location
@@allan6021 it’s also probably not possible to have plumbing on a moving part! LOL!
I’ve had a hybrid TT with the kitchen sink in the slide out so it doesn’t matter whether you have the sink or the (propane) stove in the slide out. They use flexible hoses for either one.
@@allan6021 oh! Very cool! Thx
I love this it is really nice
This is a nice unit, Only thing I'd change is a theatre seat. It says there is an option for it on the pic you show so are you sure it can't happen? Or is this a shortage thing?
Did some digging. Looks to be actually available!
I have the theatre seating in mine.
Thank You
Lol yeah.. see pinned comment. I totally missed it
This is awesome. I like how if you wanted to you could customize the sitting area. Party sofa, table/chairs, recliners. One little hiccup I need it to be a couple inches taller. Definitely a 9.5 out of 10 on execution.
That score feels right to me!!
Love this concept.
And no tuck lol.I’m just a bit fussy….lol
And if I don’t get a nice sleep
Not happy camper lol
Your the best source of rv info on UA-cam Josh . We just bought a used 2013 jayflight 28bhs and we’ve been binge watch lol.
Thanks👍
Ty for the kind words!!
This is the camper I have and I love it
Wont lie I am kinda jealous
(Not baby moons, but the flattish ones)
There is a bit to much brown on the inside, but some decorating can mute that.
Agree on pretty much everything. I like the exterior how it is though 😊
💯 Agree with you!
Love this camper...it checks most of the boxes for my needs & wants. Did I miss seeing the under bed Storage? I know you talked about it
Oh I probably failed to show it. I think someone else mentioned that. Sometimes I miss stuff or I accidentally delete the footage before using it
@@JoshtheRVNerd all is forgiven Josh...I know you're a very busy man. You are still my Favorite !
love the restroom layout with that cabinet and counter space.
The kitchen slide: they should have moved the oven and cabinets flush with the slide and left more counter space behind them. There is a reason all kitchens have toe kicks on the cabinets.
OMG - they nailed it with road mode.
I know the traveling access is amazing. This is hands down the best fully functional super slide in road mode I feel I have ever seen
Really enjoyed covering it here
m.ua-cam.com/video/gQ-VH1lJU9E/v-deo.html
I would be totally on board with a lighter decor option
I don't really have a preference between stick and tin or fiberglass. I think what sold us on the Transcend was the Floorplan (240ml) and we love it.Grand design does take of their customers the other reason we chose them. Our cubbies in the bathroom and cupboards all.in the back of the camper have rode really well so far while traveling. I haven't had anything fall out or move much .It does seem odd about no theater option in the 260 rb. Hope you can do a video on the new no slide Transcend 255 FK model just curious about floorplan. Thanks Josh for all you do
Oh man.. that 240ML is SO good
Frankly.. the entire Transcend series is just phenomenal
Man a true rear bath in a fifth wheel is so rare but if the bath were shifted up front I could totally see this!!
Boy Josh, that sure is well done. A slide out cutting board next to the stove would be cool.
But hey, I've watched you so much now that we're practically family, so this Sunday's chicken dinner is at 6pm.
😁😁😁
Hey tho, did I miss you say your filming location? Be kinda cool to know and maybe see short pic on the countryside.
Thanks.
Great suggestion! This was in our Eldridge Iowa location (we call it our "Davenport" store)
@@JoshtheRVNerd gonna make it to the Oregon store anytime?
Man for a stick and tin they checked alot of boxes. My two knocks are , lose the gravy brown interior and offer theatre seats. The super slide functionality when it's retracted is unbelievable. I don't believe I've seen a 5th wheel or TT be that accessible in travel mode. Impressive bathroom as well people under estimate the need for elbow room in a bathroom for both couples or families. This one is a very nice mid entry TT . Well done " Emperor " as always great review, thanks for making my choice harder with each passing video. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
That’s really the thing on these - they really don’t feel or read like a stick and tin camper. It’s like it’s in disguise
It's amazing what they have done to this RV. Yes, I love the brown. There is enough white or whatever color the walls . Great lighting . It looks a lot bigger. I would rather have theatre seats. The sofa would not be a deal breaker.

TY. Good to know :)
Great unit!
And a Family Guy reference for the win!
Nice review! (Funny as ever!)

What an amazing floor plan. Just when you think no one could do anything unique! King option and we would have seriously considered it as an option to the 253rb. Bathroom is fantastic except for ceiling height. Price is pretty easy on the wallet too.
That sunset 253 really is like this one’s evil twin
I’m 6’4 and have no issues in the bathroom or anywhere else in mine
I am one of those folks that struggles with the kitchen toe kick slide. The cooking angle becomes uncomfortable for me. I love the storage doors and entry door matching decals and aluminum colors. I haven't had any issues with the bathroom open storage shelves.
Understandable. Thanks for sharing!!
Checked this model out just last week and theater seats are an option! This one took us completely by surprise as we can get everything we were looking for in a Winnebago, Venture or Imagine for over $20,000 less without losing the warranties and customer service. Win. Win. Win. For is.
You know how I missed it? Theater isn’t an option.. ITS STANDARD hahaha

Not with this exact layout I am afraid - more the traditional setup with windows on the drivers side. Like and imagine 2600
Sorry for the confusion
@@JoshtheRVNerd no worries at all… I actually found another one that I really love and was wondering if you’ve done a video on it… it’s called the 2023 Keystone Bullet Premier 25RKPR.

Lot of people have talked about the fridge/stove being flipped
And yeah - I biffed the theater thing. It's actually STANDARD which is why I couldn't find it in the options list LOL
