THERE we go. this is real noteblock work. not using noteblock studio or whatever the program is, and just a long string of noteblocks. using LOOPS, of the repeating parts, and redstone for timing. thank you very much, there's still ppl out there doing stuff the right way. this is a beauty.
THANK YOU!!! I’ve been doing some noteblocks (I’m okay at it but I don’t have as much patience as others) and I find that note block studio feels like cheating. Loops is definitely the way to go!
It’s spooky how faithful to the original this is. When I first heard it I wasn’t sure if it was even possible to recreate it in Minecraft but I stand corrected.
@@vlusky_husky sorta, i cant describe it very well so just choose a song you like and type in 8D audio after it. Make sure you wear head phones or ear phones when you listen to it. This video sorta had an effect of 8D audio which i found impressive since its minecraft.

That was fantastic! Just imagining the amount of time and finesse it had to take in order for it to work so well. It honestly puts my confidence as a patient person to shame, because I don't believe I would ever be able to dedicate myself enough to make this sort of contraption, not by myself at least.
this talented dude came up with the idea to make a whole fricking music machine with complicated redstone while I can't even make my 3 block high house look good.
I got this in recommended. I never even watched the original animation video before. Your build was so good that my mind actually conceived it as a legit (novelty instrument) cover I'll have on my phone and listen to instead of a "music built in game" gimmick.
I was stuck in a lot of frustrations, anxieties, all those negative feelings, and at the exact moment I found your comment. It’s so heartwarming to hear that I actually made someone feel better. Thank you for your comment!
In case you’re still wondering from the description of the last video, the reason that the eights are split into three instead of four is a music technique called “swing”. With swing, eighth notes (or whatever subdivisions you want) are played as groups of triplets with the first two tied together. It’s a distinctive sound, and it’s very common in genres like jazz and blues.
This is amazing!! Its practically spot on (apart from the notes aaron groves used that weren't in game like the really high chime on whatever clay is..... clay is a flute right?
I seriously can't stop smiling whenever i watch this. My mom came into my room and just found me sitting at my computer, smiling. Like, grinning from ear to ear. Love you alan, aaron, and simeon. absolutely amazing.
The part with the high and Long note, I hear the technique that you use of a lot of the same high note played really fast! Nice technique, I LOVE this song.
This is such a good use of note blocks in comparison to all the other people doing note blocks because you reuse certain parts of that song instead of duplicating the whole note blocks rows
Brilliant!!! A modification to the prototype. Cant wait to have these on a CD. It would need a few more new music sound tracks, but the CD description would say " A tribute to Simeon Kim! Yes I want this in my MC world I don’t care if it takes up space, plus I’m not usually good at red stone or note blocks. This would be absolutely awesome.
Just copy other peoples shit until you understand how it works. Its like mixing electrical with and/or logic gates in computers. dunno if it was intentional, but i love the use of distance used in the video, how the percussion in the beginning is important but then you move on to the next add on, making it a bit quieter. Kinda like passing on the spotlight, like true jazz.
