@@dearcastiel4667 and there me lvl 30+ barely just did main quest and now just building house
@@dearcastiel4667 after roughly 200 hours and 67 levels I finally beat the main quest lol
The side quests are the real main quest.
I’m level 65 and haven’t even been to High Hrothgar...
The fact that the main story can be finished in maybe 5-6 hours give or take in a game that has over 300 hours of gameplay is a testament to the scale of how big this game is
I knew the punch line the whole time and yet it still delivered perfectly. LOL
Skyrim is one of those games where you'll spend about a week grinding then completely forget about it for a year.
Me exactly. but that week is fun especially since I've gotten better at finding and organizing mods (Xbox one)
@@Ninja_Pro what did you do
Or you get mods and never leave for another game. Except maybe rdr2 or gta v..

I felt this spiritually
0:58 suddenly Forrest/Dragonborn being shaved and in an elegant suit for the war council, this perfectly represents the feeling of that moment, this video is pure gold, I am speechless
xD I didn’t even think about it as if the Dragonborn cleaned themselves up for it lol
I waited till Friday night and and took off my gauntlets and hood off for that one lol. Felt very important my first playthrough.
Games more than 10 years old but it's still such a masterpiece.
Even with the umpteen amount of annoying bugs, we still love it and persevere thtough.
Well at this point it's gone through so many renditions it's only 2 years old now. I think the Anniversary was some time ago?
I love how Forrest is engaging with the environment! And this ending!! Man you are a legend :D
"It's an official meeting"
0:57 Immediately goes to the face sculptor replaces the long hair and the beard with clean-cut short hair and a clean shaven face
"Official meeting's over"
1:03 Goes back to the face sculptor restores the long hair and the beard and goes about his business
"But y'all have big beards."
"Yes but we're the _Greybeards._ We're supposed to have them."
Hey man, gotta look presentable for these meetings. Outside these meetings though? It's freaking cold outside. Man needs to regrow that facial hair quick!
That follower of your with his incredulous face when you say :"i'm tired". Is so on point with the movie. For akatosh sake, Damn man.
That's not his follower. That's Tsun, the guardian of the Hall of Valor in Sovngarde.
_Someone_ isn’t going to Sovngarde
I'm speechless at the brilliance of this masterpiece. Well done.
Same. It honestly was masterfully done.
We all know how this clip will end but it's still worth watching the whole thing. Very funny.
I'm playing survival mode for the first time. Not having fast travel, this is painfully relatable
The final battle was a bit disappointing. I fought trolls and bears that were harder to kill.
This is because alduin doesn’t level beyond 15, which is .. kinda (very) dumb
@@aliatheli he scales to be slightly higher then your level actually, the reason he's so easy is cause dragons in general are kinda underpowered in the game
Reccomend Zim's Immersive Dragons mod
It basically makes dragon breaths from dragons do % based damage
So unless you hide or have high resistances , you're gonna be dead in 5 seconds if you try to tank it
@@filipvadas7602 great mod, my apologies, yeah he scales but has a max level of 100 iirc. Level is only 1.2xPC level though, so not even by much honestly
You're the dragon born. Not the Bear born. You cant eat a troll's soul.
Literally almost teared up at the end there. All I saw in this video was 14 year old me looking around Skyrim in bewilderment when I first played and completed the campaign for the very first time. Got wave of nostalgia that hit me like a fucking truck. God speed for creating this masterpiece. 🙏
Just hearing Skyrims OST is enough for the nostalgia to hit. I'll never forget the first time playing it 10 years ago, on a snowy winters day
Skyrim is a game to never truly stop playing

Outstanding dialogue, incredibly relatable. 10/10, would listen to again😂
I actually just completed the main quest storyline a few days ago, and let me tell you, I was blown away when I saw Sovngarde for the first time.
The dramatic music that plays when you are walking to Shor's Hall, the visuals of the sky above you... everything. It made my jaw drop.
Music, yes! The sky? You can see that whenever you level up.
And then you woke up, started up the game and saw those old 2010 puked out textures and some light around while having a decent BGM... Yo just admit that the game looks like crap for today standards and without mods its not impressive at all... if it is for you, I would recommend you to try modern games like Cyberpunk or even The Witcher 3 which is older but still holds up pretty good... also both games have nudity by default sooo.... yeah....
@@bumpy86 Yo just admit you like to crap all over other people's joy.
@@bumpy86 There's nothing inherently bad about the graphics, which still look fine today(especially the sky in certain areas).Nobody asked for your dickish opinions, and caring about nudity in a video game? That's just sad man
Sovngarde was magical AF
I feel very accomplished yet also very sad at the same time in this sort of scenario. Because you complete the main quest after finishing every side quest in the game, so yay, but then you can also keep playing the game after the main quest, plus you also have two or three extra abilities afterwards.

Instead of Bethesda rereleasing Skyrim for the 100th time, I think they should remake Morrowind and Oblivion for modern systems, I certainly would pay a pretty septim for them.
Boy do I have the news for you. Look up Skywind and Skyblivion.
Theres a growing trend of classics being remade. But its risky because you have to do a good job.
@@Svoorhout85 true, there has been a few in the last couple years that were terrible. However I think Bethesda should be able to manage it somewhat easier, but you never know.
@@KnightLincoln see in order for me to play those I'd need to buy Skyrim again, this time for PC. And I'd rather not encourage them to keep remaking the same game over and over.
Todd probably doesn't want to do anymore remakes. And let the fans do it
Or else he'll be forced to re-release it like Skyrim every couple of years because fans will keep buying it.

Solstheim brings back them tes3 memories
That's mainly why I skip Blackreach... it's just a less appealing looking Xen from Half-Life.
@@motodog242 Xen looked awful in Half-life 1 though.

I like how the only reason that Delphine and Esbern are at the council is that they “”””helped”””” the Dragonborn for 45 minutes. Then they proceed to demand that you kill the leader of the greybeards IN THEIR OWN CASTLE.
That empty feeling you get when it's all over...'guess I'll play it again but with mods up the azz to spice it up'.
I recently did a full modded max difficulty playhrough.. finished the main quest and went to dragonborn dlc area but shit got too easy in the end because i enchanted my gear through the rooof i had like 120% stamina and mana regen increase and 80% 2handed weapon damage increase with all my enchants lol.. so much fun on mac difficulty tho especially playing as a battlemage/paladin ish build with lots of auras, buffs, enchants, spells and heavy melee
@@cognitivedisability9864True , but if you're going to spike your abilities it'd best be done on the craziest difficulties, using mods that turn the game into a Dark Souls experience then it won't be so easy.😅

"Not Undead, Forrest. Dunmer!"

Ah yes, another Pertinax masterpiece. *chef’s kiss*
The Accuracy in these😂😂
The moment when Forrest was sitting in the war negotiation and go like "...yeah" was me exactly during that scene
I like how you incorporated him casually running by an ancient Nordic tomb puzzle, that is specifically created for the dragon born to use “whirlwind sprint” on, like it’s nothing 😂
I don’t know why Robert Zemeckis cut this scene from the movie. It’s amazing.
This is an absolute gem. I can't explain how perfect this is.

This is the greatest Skyrim video of all time….
The Gump and Skyrim combination is so beautiful. Thank you for this!
Oh my god, this is brilliant. The editing, the choice of Forrest Gump fits so well, and the scenery is hilarious. The part with the dragon flame was just too good! 😂 Awesome job as always Pertinax!
This feels very relatable while doing a survival mode playthrough. No fast travels. Only horses are useful.
The most phenomenal thing ive seen all year, congratulations.
First time I beat Alduin, he bit me, I ran off to heal, when I came back he was basically already dead, thought he was going to have a second form when he became the gooy smoke dragon, but no
All editing magic aside, Tom Hanks deserves another Oscar for this performance.
I love the random dragon corpse glitching in at the finale lmao
Skyrim is probably my favorite game In my entire life and this is my new favorite video!
When you roll low for intelligence, but high for constitution
I feel like I just replayed the entire game from start to finish.
I've always felt so empty after completing those quests...
Dude, this was majestic ✋🏼😎👌🏼✨
I feel like only roleplayers like me will ever actually sit down and just play the main quest. And even then, we still just skip dialogue cause we’ve already been there a million times. We’ve probably already chosen what our responses to every dialogue option is long ahead of time and just go through the motions. It’s like the fucking Fargoth cycle.

I didn't know about fast travel till after I passed through Skingrad and was at Anvil, maybe even further lol
@@johnmanzuki8979 Oh man. Even with being able to fast travel, you have to walk (cuz running really isn't a thing until late game) to undiscovered locations that are wayyy out in the middle of nowhere. Not fast traveling must of be rough.
