Nice! I’ve been wanting to do this since I was a kid, and noticed the trees in between the expressway lanes and thought “ that would be cool to sneak in and camp there” but you actually did it. Awesome job!
I just happened to come across you're channel and wanted to say you are definitely one little interesting guy and happy future camping and whatever else it is that you do.
Thank you for the comment ! My channel is variety channel of the top hobbies im into. Gaming will not be featured much anymore but mainly Electric Unicycle hobby for the time being with some vloggish content here and there. I want to do another camp but i will wait when it gets a little bit cooler and have to check the areas first now because we have a lot of homeless camping in our woods more than we did a few months ago.
Thank you for the tip. Eventuall would like to come back to this spot and try something different , we kind of need a forest for that that is not burned down 😅
@@WILSONsHobbies Refine your strategy and keep trying in that forest. You need to upgrade mosquito counter-measures and rethink netting for sleeping. Great work on tarp. Keep making testing/improving. You could make a video thinking up strategies, be well. Also, don't cook food in plastic, as it likely leeches into food, upgrade tea drink too. Also talk slow and calm. My tip/ideas.
Nice video and Thank you for sharing. Another commenter has already mentioned about a head net, which my partner and I always carry (it serves at least 2 uses - keeps bugs off, but also takes away the face 'shine' when stealthing) Another point, your stove is not exactly stealthy as it sounds like a jet engine on afterburner - alcohol is way more stealthy. Finally, get yourself a decent bivy bag - either a British Military Goretex (which we had issued) or the USGI MSS bivi. The USGI has a side zip which is useful and weatherproof and the UK Mil bag is just that a bag...lol....multi purpose, bivi bag or body bag. Either will give you a cool dry sleep. Hope you are happy with our comments....Take care, stay well, stay safe. Helen With Kat and Terri with Robyn. Oh...and have subbed 👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your insight and recommendations. The bug net would be ideal during this first camp. Nice, I will look into those bivy bag suggestions. So many choices! Many people use the alcohol stoves too from what Ive seen. Wouldnt hurt to try that out as well. Once the holidays are over i plan to do some upgrades to my gear according to recommendations. Your comments are great and thank you for stopping by to my variety channel. I have subbed too!!
Well done if you enjoyed yourself that is all that matters, nice to see you get out alive what with that Predator sniffing around, if you use a alcohol stove you don't need dish soap just use alcohol and water, thanks for the video I really enjoyed it.
Thank you! Makes me happy people enjoy the content. The area is interesting enough to do more camping in (i scoped it out more a couple days ago) tons of spots to just setup. It wouldnt really be stealth camping but more camping on private property that no one uses lol
The realities of that statement are very true. In all seriousness Ive seen ~6 homeless/drug injection sites (orange cap littered) literally 3 minutes walk behind the home very close to my spot seen in this video. Makes me wonder how many more there are just in this small little town.
@@WILSONsHobbies I have one. I have not used it yet. I dont even know where it is at the moment but it was intended for the get home bag i keep (kept....need to put it back) in the car. maybe early fall when the bugs are down......we could ride our wheels out to a random place and do a stelth camp haha Get a few of us together. Id have buy some shit but it would be worth it.
Thank you for checking this video. Once it gets a little cooler ill try this again with a hammock I have. All the areas around me are getting taken up by the homeless situation we are experiencing so they are using alot of places that I want to camp in my area. Hope you enjoy the variety content and hope you find some of the stuff somewhat entertaining. Have a great day!
This was super cool!
Thanks mate! Something different this time around. Good learning experience for what I need next time . Thanks for visiting !
A mosquito net for the head is great to have plus cheap and lightweight.

Now this is some quality content! Can't wait for some future stealthers!
Thank you,! That was kind of you. 😁

be careful with butane, the spare one was too close, while igniting the one attached, could fall over, be careful with that stuff, great content!

@@WILSONsHobbies you can get them with bug netting too. Also saves space cause you don’t need a sleeping pad.
