in my opinion one of the best army history musuems i have ever visited, the displays are perfect and also one of the only musuems with unristored ww1 tanks
I have visited military museums all over the United States, Canada and Europe and this one is perhaps my favorite. There's just so much here to see that you do not really see in other museums. I remember when admission used to be free. I have a hunch that the free admission is a thing of the past however.
Loved ths video and you gave an enjoyable and very interesting selection of the contents Dan. I tried to visit when last in Waterloo & Brussels during the 200th anniversary of the famous battke in 2015. Totally agree with the museum layout. I love the blend of old cases with loads of detail and modern setting. NAM and IWM London should have followed this style!
so nothing japanese or pacific area ? I know Belgium had nothing to do there..but neither are the soviet or russian pieces (of ww1 and ww2) to do with Belgium per sé..
No, there are no pieces concerning the Pacific but we have mannequins with African uniforms (Congo, Ethiopia..etc.). And in your museums, are there mannequins with Belgian uniforms?
You're misinformed . There was a very interesting campaign of Belgian troops in Russia during WW I . They had to leave 'cause of the 1917 revolution ...

In my opinion the music is really loud compared to the speaking parts however I liked the level at 20:00 whilst you were speaking
Thank you for the feedback - I shall work on this :)
@@regimentalsmilitaria no problem nice to see a UA-camr who listen to his viewers requests.
Great looking museum , hate the music (rather hear just plain museum background noise, I enjoy that better)
thank you for the feedback - good to know for next time :)
What does any of the awful noise have to do with WW2?
Wow, this is a fantastic museum. Lotta militaria museums are meh. Fantastic displays here
