Just bought a new trailing socket. I wonder is it normal if the switch button is tight when pressing it on or off. Kinda nervous that it might trip if have to press hard every time. Should I just get a good brand product?

Think it normal due to new socket.If usual if soft pressing and after long time use make it tight than there might be a trouble with the mechanical switch.Good product and brand are recommended to buy if not have yet.
