This is the best! Teachers spend alot of their money on class supplies when they do not have to! It's only because they are awesome that they do this! I love how she let's her kids have a fun time in class she is an amazing teacher!

actually my teachers would have to use their money to buy class supplies because my country's economy doesn't give a lot to each school to spend on supplies. It's best not to assume that not all teachers don't have to. A lot of them have to pay out of their own pocket sadly.

When I was younger my “dream career” was always teacher. Throughout high school I wasn’t sure anymore, then I’ve had to take a few years off school, but am now finally making university plans, and you’ve very much inspired me to consider teaching. Still undecided, but the way you make such a difference in your student’s lives really warms my heart and inspires me.

I took 4 whole years off of school after high school, for a variety of reasons like mental health, family issues, uncertainty in career path etc. But I still know I wanted to go to school. So I took some Gen Ed's to help me get a feel of things I liked the first year and that really helped (would advice this 100%), also taking tests to figure out what stuff specifically interested me. It's been a long time coming but at nearly 27 I'm almost done with my bachelor's and planning for grad school :) we all go through life at our own pace, and it's okay you don't have all your answers today 💜 best.

This is such a great system to encourage kids to stay motivated and active during class. It gives them an incentive to go and work hard to earn those tickets. I remember having something similar back in elementary school, and it was definitely one of my happiest years there.

Yeah in my class they did this thing where you would get these tickets and put them in the boys or girls box and the teacher picks one boy and one girl ticket and whoevers ticket it is got to choose a gift card

Auctions like that are really fun. One teacher had Friday after lunch movies (they were based on whatever book we were reading at the time). You could use dollars to buy a snack, else you could save up for the "End of the year auction!" Which was mostly everything that had been confiscated throughout the year (but couldn't be given back), and of course candy. It was the best! 🤩

my teacher in 5th grade used to give us little fancy things at the end of each week if we turned in our homework on time everyday. we had about 50 kids in the class and looking back i find that very sweet of her. honestly haven’t thought about her for a while, the video brought back some good memories, i still have all the things she gave me and i honestly treasure it so much

These are such good ideas for elementary kids! We used to have ‘Thank You’ days. When you were good or helped with something yoh would get a Thank You ticket, write your name on it and every week there’s a draw for one person to come win one prize.
