I’ve had a busy October so far. Baby appointments, went on a week long trip that had a 12 hour drive, went to check out some fall colors with the leaves changing. And didn’t really have service where I was. But now that I’m back home, I’m definitely going to go and watch all the videos I’ve missed recently.
I really like to use the nude shade that came in the fall box for daily charme under the cat eye polish so it isn’t quite as transparent and helps the color show a bit more. I love how the nails came out though!

Brandi, these turned out very fall, a change from all the ones with the maple leaves,brown glitter, sweater nails, you know I’ve never done a sweater nail. Lol anywho….I loved them!
I play with the foil placement before I put on the transfer glue and all that. Then I cut them how I need them to be. I love the foils! I think they are fun. Full nail water decals too…when your only doing them on a couple nails you can add matching details to the others.
As far as notifying me of new videos…honestly I only get new notifications on my phone. Not on my tablet. Weird since I subscribe using my tablet and I watch using my tablet. But anyway that’s how it’s been working out lately.
So….I don’t know how many know this this but, at the bottom of my screens there’s a subscriptions or something like that when you tap or click on that it takes you to your subscriptions the ones you have subscribed to. There listed is all the new videos and shorts that have been uploaded. I check that section first, home feed for whatever might be showing, I always check the shorts, lately too I have been getting recently posted in the community (since my tablet is a Apple UA-cam isn’t letting apple users have access to the community tab. But, we have been getting just a bit of it lately which I love.
Idk, people have to keep up with their content, watch their videos, try to comment even if it’s a hi. Remembering that it helps their fav creators out a lot!

Hi- I recently started watching and love the content. Did my gel nails for years and then dip. Just starting Gel X and your videos are great! I purchased peel off base as I would love my nails to come off without work and damage. My nails grow fast so they can be done after approximately 10 days. How long will peel off base last? I bought the Jello brand as well as some generic

Depends on things like daily activities and prep and what's used to do the nails it usually anywhere from 1 to 3 or 4 weeks. At about 3 weeks nails should be filled or redone.
You are so talented Brandy I am 48 I used to be a nail tech Nails have changed so much and I want to get back into nails but it's overwhelming because I don't know about the products that they have now but I want to learn how to do them again

Hi! Question with this method, do you normally prep the mail before adding the cuticle oil? Also when applying the glue do you place on your nail bed or it doesn’t matter?

For those who don’t want to buy another bottle of top coat, get some of the top coat on a dish then use a separate nail brush to apply it

I bought a peel off base coat and for the love of all, i cant get my nails to atay on long enough to paint them n decorate! Am i doing something wrong? So on ur method, u put the cuticle oil first then one coat of top coat? ❤❤ thanks for sharing this tip!

So any cuticle oil and any gel top coat? Wipe free I'm guessing. And can do more than 1 layer of topcoat if acrylic.

Hey! I personally like using the Kiara Sky nail drill and lamp or the Notpolish nail drill and lamp. For a more budget friendly option you can check out MelodySusie! I remember trying their Jade Rechargeable nail drill and I think it’s a good option. They also have a drill and nail lamp combo! Makartt is another option for a nail lamp their Flawless Pro Nail Curing Lamp! I hope that helps 🥰

I would think not longer for a day, when I use this method and try to leave them on for a little they pop off very easy when doing life tasks! If you are doing acrylic with this method they may stay on a little longer.

Does the nails pop off even when you do nail prep, dehydrator, and primer?
In my gel x tutorial where I show nail prep before curing the base coat I always wipe it off, wash my hands, then apply the peel off base coat. I know that is a little confusing 😅 Since I basically disregard the prep by removing the base and washing my hands the peel off base coat still works and my nails come off just as easy!
Do you cleanse the nails to remove any excess oil before you start?
I just wash my hands with soap and water!

Yes!
Can I use this method using air dry glue instead of gel?
Yes I use this DIY peel off base using air dry glue sometimes! Especially if I have a nail pop off while filing i’ll apply it using air dry glue 😊

If I try leaving them on they tend to pop off when I do tasks like wash my hands, open car doors, etc.
