I am in IT been working for more than 3+ years. There is 0 job security. Money is big, I am earning 1L+/month. But everyday you get up with a fear of getting laid off. If you stuck in one issue, you fear to ask your manager for help, as it may give you bad impression and which later can increase your chance of getting laid off. Plus after 40 years your value as developer decreases causing high chance of not getting job as your salary is astronomical and your productivity to company went down. Its super depressing everywhere. I am in dilemma of preparing for Govt job even a 30,000 govt job is better if you consider mental health.

I am in PSU bank as scale 1 officer. Not taking promotion due to extreme pressure at high lever..But even being at scale 1, we get every day threat of suspension or transfer to punishment places or cut in increment ...Life has become hell...Still 20 years of service left...But a single day is unbearable...
Both sectors either Govt or Private has a lot of issues of their own but self development ( skills ) and business mindset development make you independent . Moral of the speech : develope your own capacity to build money , your adaptive power and business mindset should be top-notch .
Every field we choose has some pros and cons. Be it pvt job, govt job, own business, farming, freelancing, going abroad, investing or anything else every sector has its own problems its upto you what you want and what you can tolerate. If you can't take risk how can you do a business if you are not good at studies how can you crack govt job exam. Not everyone is same. Analysis yourself what kind of person you are then decide which sector's worst side you can handle. Don't take decisions on the basis of someone's experience bcoz even if you search on UA-cam about the side effects of drinking water you will probably find someone criticising the water as well🤣🤣

But I'm a human who doesn't make her opinion based on what I just heard from somebody else. People need to use their brain (seems like most of them don't have these days tho). And, my father is in Pharma Industries means a private sector. My father never had much time for the family except for the weekends and he's mostly working on those days also because of the amount of work he does for the family. All I'm saying is Govt or Private doesn't make any difference because when a person is working his ass off in his life to earn the most he can (financially and status and respect etc) you'll never get rid of all those stress and deadlines and sleepless nights and tried body and what not !? Not a single job in this world is easy! You can only get the motivation to do your job every single day with enthusiasm is when you're willing to do it !! and for whatever reason like family or yourself. People who has a goal and is working hard towards it will never fail, but you CAN NOT expect this to be a cake walk ! Working your ass off for building a luxurious life is never a bloody Cake Walk!!

We as working parents are already juggling between work and family. There is not much time to manage everything. Jobs 1.Spending your whole life away from your home city/state, leaving away all your cousins, siblings and parents and alike, and returning to your Home City when you have passed 60 years of age when all your near and dear ones might be dead due to old age or on their death bed. 2. Doing 24*7 work in Rural Parts of the country in initial 10 years of your Career (field postings). 3. No Private or Personal life 4. Even have to ask Govt. and other Senior officials before taking long holidays. 5. Their child's education and Family Life suffers due to frequent transfers. 6. Life threats 7. Huge political Answerability and Interference 8. No Pension, Less Salary and Decreasing avenues of getting black money (due to increasing digitalization and Extensive role of AI in govt. work) 9. Friends getting better packages, enjoying their life, partying, Vacationing and living life on their own terms without having to be answerable to any minister or public. 10. At the end, it's just a Job and only thing that attracts people in this, is big house, security, car etc but all these Won't be there in Central Postings.
My dad is group A services. I don’t agree with any of your points. 😂 Look it’s fine to just say grapes are sour. Only a person in govt job can say how much money they make. Rest no consultant or anyone even family members of govt job employees know how much they make. If group A services are bad then say what is better?

It's just like share market, if a particular stock has given the 5000% returns in the past years, then doesn't means it'll give these returns it in future also and sustain that too. Rest is all your choice and whatever makes you happy.

I am an Assistant Director ( Through UPSC ESE ) in Central Water Commission which is Group A Gazetted Job , but at any time I m not in favour of a corporate job than a Group A Gazetted Officer , what u r saying is very generalized that's why not true so be specific about type of Govt. Getting government job is good, but if you think that you can make money or get huge dowry, then you may not prepare for job. Constant transfers are norms every few years you will be transferred.

As far as materialism is concerned, it is always overestimated. Any luxurious asset gives pleasure hardly for a month and then its all the same. Moreover in coming times sustainable living would be more celebrated than lavish living. One small caveat is that you should enjoy the work you are doing because if you are not , then stress starts creeping in and we find problems everywhere. Consume less of internet in free time and do more physical exercises - key to happiness in coming times.

I am working for an IT company with 25k in hand 10k for living expenses, 3-5k others am left with 10-12k in a metro city😢 and 3.5-4.5 L/year is the starting package of every company. Govt job can give me double of 25k so I will give it a try and parallely upskill myself as well.
1-2 saal experience ke baad, IT mai aaram se 100 percent appraisal mil jaata hai job switch karne par jo govt job mai nai hai. IT mai bas kaam aana chahiye.

Although being a regular viewer of your content, I would like to disagree that the charm of government jobs is depreciating. There are finest government institutions today which are at par with the best private sector jobs. For instance a corporate lawyer can expect a salary being a fresher anywhere between 5 LPA- 20LPA (CTC)in tier 1 law firms of the country which is like an exclusive club where even getting an internship is a dream for many students. On the flipside, govt. bodies like RBI, SEBI, NABARD etc. offer a handsome package and in many cases more than the private sector. For eg. SEBI offers 24 LPA (CTC) to the entry level officers (GRADE A) and same is the case with RBI which offers 28 LPA- 30 LPA (CTC) to the entry level officers (GRADE B). The work life balance is amazing. Job postings are mostly in tier 1, 2 cities. Lifestyle definitely is upgraded. So it's my humble request to refrain from expressing clear bias towards the government jobs and do more research before coming up with another video. Not every video can work by the spices of so called dark realities.

this is the comments people need to read in this comment section. I'm also his subscriber and most of the time i learn a lot of new aspects. But I'm a human who doesn't make her opinion based on what I just heard from somebody else. People need to use their brain (seems like most of them don't have these days tho). Things or situations never work in a Single Direction! Everything has its pros and cons. I'm preparing for the IAS and whatever he said and the negative comments bashing govt jobs will not even affect a hair strand let alone my brain or the decision i made. And, my father is in Pharma Industries means a private sector. My father never had much time for the family except for the weekends and he's mostly working on those days also because of the amount of work he does for the family.
All I'm saying is Govt or Private doesn't make any difference because when a person is working his ass off in his life to earn the most he can (financially and status and respect etc) you'll never get rid of all those stress and deadlines and sleepless nights and tried body and what not !?
Not a single job in this world is easy! You can only get the motivation to do your job every single day with enthusiasm is when you're willing to do it !! and for whatever reason like family or yourself. People who has a goal and is working hard towards it will never fail, but you CAN NOT expect this to be a cake walk ! Working your ass off for building a luxurious life is never a bloody Cake Walk!!

2. Doing 24*7 work in Rural Parts of the country in initial 10 years of your Career (field postings).
3. No Private or Personal life
4. Even have to ask Govt. and other Senior officials before taking long holidays.
5. Their child's education and Family Life suffers due to frequent transfers.
6. Life threats
7. Huge political Answerability and Interference
8. No Pension, Less Salary and Decreasing avenues of getting black money (due to increasing digitalization and Extensive role of AI in govt. work)
9. Friends getting better packages, enjoying their life, partying, Vacationing and living life on their own terms without having to be answerable to any minister or public.
10. At the end, it's just a Job and only thing that attracts people in this, is big house, security, car etc but all these Won't be there in Central Postings.

Although being a regular viewer of your content, I would like to disagree that the charm of government jobs is depreciating. There are finest government institutions today which are at par with the best private sector jobs. For instance a corporate lawyer can expect a salary being a fresher anywhere between 5 LPA- 20LPA (CTC)in tier 1 law firms of the country which is like an exclusive club where even getting an internship is a dream for many students. On the flipside, govt. bodies like RBI, SEBI, NABARD etc. offer a handsome package and in many cases more than the private sector. For eg. SEBI offers 24 LPA (CTC) to the entry level officers (GRADE A) and same is the case with RBI which offers 28 LPA- 30 LPA (CTC) to the entry level officers (GRADE B). The work life balance is amazing. Job postings are mostly in tier 1, 2 cities. Lifestyle definitely is upgraded. So it's my humble request to refrain from expressing clear bias towards the government jobs and do more research before coming up with another video. Not every video can work by the spices of so called dark realities.
