I am in PSU bank as scale 1 officer. Not taking promotion due to extreme pressure at high lever..But even being at scale 1, we get every day threat of suspension or transfer to punishment places or cut in increment ...Life has become hell...Still 20 years of service left...But a single day is unbearable...
I am in IT been working for more than 3+ years. There is 0 job security. Money is big, I am earning 1L+/month. But everyday you get up with a fear of getting laid off. If you stuck in one issue, you fear to ask your manager for help, as it may give you bad impression and which later can increase your chance of getting laid off. Plus after 40 years your value as developer decreases causing high chance of not getting job as your salary is astronomical and your productivity to company went down. Its super depressing everywhere. I am in dilemma of preparing for Govt job even a 30,000 govt job is better if you consider mental health.

@@jitendrapatel6284 if you want to go for govt job then do some grade A or B job only. Problem is they have less vacancy. Otherwise, rest other govt jobs are trash just like majority of the private sector jobs. Wherever you are, be in top 10% then only you can do good in life.
I just took a Govt job 2 months ago.. and yeah reality hits hard... govt sector is not what it used to be...it's better to do a private job... my advice would be to polish your skills and do a skill based job

But I'm a human who doesn't make her opinion based on what I just heard from somebody else. People need to use their brain (seems like most of them don't have these days tho). Things or situations never work in a Single Direction! Everything has its pros and cons. I'm preparing for the IAS and whatever he said and the negative comments bashing govt jobs will not even affect a hair strand let alone my brain or the decision i made. And, my father is in Pharma Industries means a private sector. My father never had much time for the family except for the weekends and he's mostly working on those days also because of the amount of work he does for the family. All I'm saying is Govt or Private doesn't make any difference because when a person is working his ass off in his life to earn the most he can (financially and status and respect etc) you'll never get rid of all those stress and deadlines and sleepless nights and tried body and what not !? Not a single job in this world is easy! You can only get the motivation to do your job every single day with enthusiasm is when you're willing to do it !! and for whatever reason like family or yourself. People who has a goal and is working hard towards it will never fail, but you CAN NOT expect this to be a cake walk ! Working your ass off for building a luxurious life is never a bloody Cake Walk!!

Be it pvt job, govt job, own business, farming, freelancing, going abroad, investing or anything else every sector has its own problems its upto you what you want and what you can tolerate. If you can't take risk how can you do a business if you are not good at studies how can you crack govt job exam. Not everyone is same. Analysis yourself what kind of person you are then decide which sector's worst side you can handle. Don't take decisions on the basis of someone's experience bcoz even if you search on UA-cam about the side effects of drinking water you will probably find someone criticising the water as well🤣🤣

As far as materialism is concerned, it is always overestimated. Any luxurious asset gives pleasure hardly for a month and then its all the same. Moreover in coming times sustainable living would be more celebrated than lavish living. One small caveat is that you should enjoy the work you are doing because if you are not , then stress starts creeping in and we find problems everywhere. Consume less of internet in free time and do more physical exercises - key to happiness in coming times.
I am working for an IT company with 25k in hand 10k for living expenses, 3-5k others am left with 10-12k in a metro city😢 and 3.5-4.5 L/year is the starting package of every company. Govt job can give me double of 25k so I will give it a try and parallely upskill myself as well.

Secondly, bureaucrats can be honest but the one who choses honesty in his career, the government of that state don't let him be !! Just read an article where a Female IAS officer brought water to a village AFTER FREAKING 75 YEARS !!! where people had to Walk miles and miles to get clean water and that IAS officer got transferred lol. It's very tough to sustain as an honest officer. This doesn't mean that one should get into corruption but IAS officers or any Grade A officers in general are expected to be cleaver and should know how to handle a situation, the reason they have this ethics subject even in the syllabus and have to go through a tough interview (if you make it till there). And then comes the training period after selection. They are prepared to face those challenges and that's the reason not everyone gets selected even if the have knowledge even more than the syllabus. It's just the corrupt government and illiterate people who always votes without any knowledge just on the basis of who did the most advertisements and made false promises on the name of castes or race 😂

I have seen several of your videos and specially on govt jobs, you speak the truth. I was also in PSB and resigned and now I am 100 times happier in private job. But yes, one is to note that the anchor clearly defines his audience. I am a son of a retired Central govt officer and therefore these videos are quite applicable to me. But as the anchor clearly defines, govt jobs are good for lower income people(not castes, even General category also suffer from poverty, low income). These jobs are not suitable for people coming from middle or higher income families. Transfers, very less facilities, college peers having better social life (foreign trips, city nightlife, better standard crowd etc. Trust me this hurts the most), work pressure, nil recognition and more. Today even males working in e-commerce, IT, designing companies earning 20-25 lakh packages are finding it difficult to get a girl to marry, it will be difficult for a person posted in rural areas to get a girl to marry to himself. What he says is true. Again different audience is targeted here.

It is very demoralising to be posted to a smaller town in your job. They do not possess that critical mass of educated and cultured folks. All talented people gravitate to the bigger cities.
Central govt jobs are worst these days, transfers have been banned by govt even for most of the lower grade pay jobs , and forget about bribe etc., leave issues are there , not worth, rather go for state govt jobs

Recently read an article on the imperial civil services during british rule ,well those were the most prestigious jobs ,pay was very good ,10s of times better than indian govt jobs ,mainly because most were british ,even then most were corrupt ,fast forward almost a century ,the reality remains the same ,howver the compensation is not that handsome anymore ,also the govt these days is translucent if not transparent ,hence extra income sources reduces ,maybe that is the reason why few leave such jobs to be handsomely compensated elsewhere
The problems of private sector are disastrous and if you are doing a private job then you are simply a modern slave where you have to sell your conscience,self respect.

We as working parents are already juggling between work and family. There is not much time to manage everything. Be it pvt job, govt job, own business, farming, freelancing, going abroad, investing or anything else every sector has its own problems its upto you what you want and what you can tolerate. If you can't take risk how can you do a business if you are not good at studies how can you crack govt job exam. Not everyone is same. Analysis yourself what kind of person you are then decide which sector's worst side you can handle. Don't take decisions on the basis of someone's experience bcoz even if you search on UA-cam about the side effects of drinking water you will probably find someone criticising the water as well🤣🤣

It's very tough to sustain as an honest officer.
This doesn't mean that one should get into corruption but IAS officers or any Grade A officers in general are expected to be cleaver and should know how to handle a situation, the reason they have this ethics subject even in the syllabus and have to go through a tough interview (if you make it till there). And then comes the training period after selection. They are prepared to face those challenges and that's the reason not everyone gets selected even if the have knowledge even more than the syllabus. It's just the corrupt government and illiterate people who always votes without any knowledge just on the basis of who did the most advertisements and made false promises on the name of castes or race 😂

I have seen several of your videos and specially on govt jobs, you speak the truth. I was also in PSB and resigned and now I am 100 times happier in private job. But yes, one is to note that the anchor clearly defines his audience. I am a son of a retired Central govt officer and therefore these videos are quite applicable to me. But as the anchor clearly defines, govt jobs are good for lower income people(not castes, even General category also suffer from poverty, low income). These jobs are not suitable for people coming from middle or higher income families. Transfers, very less facilities, college peers having better social life (foreign trips, city nightlife, better standard crowd etc. Trust me this hurts the most), work pressure, nil recognition and more. Today even males working in e-commerce, IT, designing companies earning 20-25 lakh packages are finding it difficult to get a girl to marry, it will be difficult for a person posted in rural areas to get a girl to marry to himself. What he says is true. Again different audience is targeted here.

It is very demoralising to be posted to a smaller town in your job. They do not possess that critical mass of educated and cultured folks. All talented people gravitate to the bigger cities.
But majority of govt jobs are in rural areas. People who have to move from big cities to small towns and rural areas face a lot of problems.
Central govt jobs are worst these days, transfers have been banned by govt even for most of the lower grade pay jobs , and forget about bribe etc., leave issues are there , not worth, rather go for state govt jobs

Recently read an article on the imperial civil services during british rule ,well those were the most prestigious jobs ,pay was very good ,10s of times better than indian govt jobs ,mainly because most were british ,even then most were corrupt ,fast forward almost a century ,the reality remains the same ,howver the compensation is not that handsome anymore ,also the govt these days is translucent if not transparent ,hence extra income sources reduces ,maybe that is the reason why few leave such jobs to be handsomely compensated elsewhere
