Looks like an incredible day! Even without a newborn that would be considered a productive day for me with 4 kids 6 and under ! I usually focus on what has to be done… laundry, meals and tidy home and homeschooling. You’re doing great momma! Keep up the good work! Your children all even napped ! Perfect 😍

I'm so proud of you. I just had my third, and finally threw the rule book out the window. It feels so good to just do what works best for everyone in the family. Good for you! I pray the Lord grants you continued rest and peace ❤️

I totally relate to the fighting the baby while they nurse. I remember my ties curling and every muscle tensing. Then I stumbled upon the tongue and lip tie train, found out not every doctor can properly diagnose, but it has to be a preferred provider; which you can find ones near you online. I went and saw an IBCLC and then a dentist who can preform the procedure. The first six to eight weeks after the procedure is sort of rough because of the oral stretches you have to do, but in my opinion it'd totally worth it. Both my children became champion nurses roughly 4 weeks after the procedure and we nursed 15 months strong!
Tongue and lip ties can cause so many issues in the future like food aversion, head aches, posture issues and so much more. They are so easily misdiagnosed and over looked, but are easily resolved and is a minor procedure. It's important to catch in young. The sooner the procedure is done the quicker the baby recovers and it's easier for them to relearn their sucking muscles.
You family is beautiful and you are doing a great job Mama!

This 100% my guy got his cut at 6 weeks he couldn’t even latch a bottle let alone a boob it was hell. Ended up nursing until 2 and needed speech therapy first year of life for having hyposensitivity in his mouth from not being able to develop the nerves being tied. I recently got myself assessed for ties as a lot of things lined up for me and I do and getting it revised soon as a 30 year old :)

Congratulations on your beautiful baby! You did so well managing all of them and the housework on your first day solo.
Just curious as to how parents in Canada manage to get their kids out of the house in winter when it’s so cold? Or do you just end up spending a lot of time at home? We just had a week at home because of heavy rain where I live in Australia, and I was wondering how people cope with having kids inside a lot in other parts of the world when the weather is not so friendly for longer periods of time.

I would love to hear about things that made 4 under 4 easier for you. Were expecting twins and already have 2 toddlers. Any advice is appreciated 😅

Your doing amazing. My third was a premie and I had to bottle feed and I pumped every 2 hours too. It felt like all I did was pump and feed and it made me sad. I couldn’t enjoy my baby or take care of my family the way I needed to. You doing it all with 4 and they’re all so young, I really commend you. Your parents did amazing raising God fearing children, you and your sister reap good fruit. God bless you and congratulations!

Aww yay I am so glad I found your channel! loving this video. Great job mama! Also I noticed you said you were having a hard time keeping track of feedings, I use the free version of huckleberry to track feedings, sleep, medications, and more! It has been so helpful, especially with my bad time management skills lol. Just a thought in case you wanted to try something like that, they have updated the app so now you can even set alarms!

I love that you created simple goals that helped you to feeling like it was a productive day. We are expecting our fourth this week and it’s great to see another Mumma loving on her family and sharing the realities. Thank you!

If you enjoyed the nursing experience, you could try re-introducing it now that she's getting her needs met. Doesn't hurt to try if it's something that you loved doing

I need to know how you did combining different aged kiddos in one room? I have a three month old and a 15 month old and we are needing to move the youngest in with the oldest.

Women really need to stop having to explain why they stop nursing. You don’t have to explain. You just do what’s best for you and your baby. No need to explain it to everyone!

Do you ever experience feelings of isolation when you’re at home with the kids all day? I do with one toddler and am due in soon, so I know it will get worse as I’ll be at home more!

That breastfeeding situation is normal... All babys get lactation crisis in the 2 weeks postpartum, it is about 3-5 days, and then, returns to normal...

I hate the hippie dippee breast is best movement. It’s innate for women to want to breastfeed. We don’t need society to pressure us to do so. A lot of women, myself included, struggle with breastfeeding for a multitude of reasons beyond our control. I don’t think anyone’s first choice is to pump or to formula feed so having the extra pressure from society to breastfeed hurts even more when we are unable to. Please make it known that pumping and formula/bottle feeding are all wonderful options. Mamas out there, do what works for your body and do not feel ashamed about it. Fed is best.
