  • In this short video we show how to assemble a Level One Kite such as the Badass, Reloaded, One Eleven, Jumping Jack Flash etc....
Level One Kites have a single piece leading edge and lower spreader, something that is not common in majority of stunt kites available on the market.
    To assemble the kite:
    1. Pull the kite out of the bag, place on the ground with the nose facing into the wind, belly side up
    2. Rotate the lower spreader, then slide through the center T till the stopper clip is against the center T
    3. Slide the vinyl sleeve on the lower spreader to the center T. Thus securing the lower spreader in place.
    4. Insert the end of the spreader into the lower leading edge fitting
    5. Connect the standoffs
    6. Insert the upper spreader into the upper leading edge fittings near the nose.
    7. Check that the fittings are secure and that there are no wraps of the bridle around the spreaders.
    You are ready to fly.

Really wondering why Paul doesn´t connect the upper spreader first. To me it technically makes no sense to insert the lower spreader first into a delta kite

I've seen people do it both ways. I think it doesn't really matter. I personally put the upper spreader in first

does the kite always go into the bag nose or wingtips first?

      Nose first typically.
I wrapt the bridle and standoffs inside the sail in order for it not to tangle that easy when you pull the kite back out.
I also use a piece of velcro to holt it together
