Beyond: Two Souls is an interactive drama action-adventure video game for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) console, developed by French developer Quantic Dream. Beyond: Two Souls's events occur in a contemporary American setting and center on Jodie Holmes, a 23 year old woman who is psychically tethered to a ghostly entity named Aiden. The title will follow Jodie and Aiden through fifteen years of Jodie's life.
Characters include: Jodie Holmes, the main character, Jodie is endowed with supernatural abilities due to her unknown link with Aiden. Performance captured by Ellen Page.
Aiden: A supernatural entity that has been linked to Jodie all her life, Aiden can possess certain people and interact with our physical world.
Nathan Dawkins: A government scientist and surrogate father figure for Jodie. Performance captured by Willem Dafoe.
Cole Freeman: Another government researcher and a surrogate father figure for Jodie, works with Nathan. Performance captured by Kadeem Hardison.
Ryan Clayton: An assumed government agent and ally of Jodie's. Performance captured by Eric Winter.
From Jay, Zoey, and Alone storyline. It seems like the designers of this game wants you to put Ryan's storyline.

@@fingerpenislitits2911 The reason Jay is better than Ryan (in my personal opinion) is because Jay never used Jodie. He tried to get her to leave the Ranch in the beginning to spare her. But after he realized he misjudged her Jay treated her with gentle hospitality. Life on the ranch was peaceful and real.
Ryan was an asshole to Jodie from the get go. He told her to "shut up and do as you're told" right after she just learned that she would not only have to uproot her whole life again but would also BELONG to the CIA, like property.
Sure sure Ryan fell for her some time after her training and later he comes to accept Aiden, however Aiden never liked him. I can see a brother not wanting his sister to be with a pompous, rude, order following, selfish jerk.
Ryan may have apologized in the end and still kept loving Jodie, but it's not about what's best for that man...its about what's best for Jodie. She deserves Jay. She deserves a man who will never lie to her, to get her to murder an innocent man for some stupid job. Boom. Argue that.
I love Jay and Zoey, but I prefer this ending. I wonder why it's entitled "Alone" instead of "Aidan", I mean, we clearly choose him in this ending.

To be straight up honest, I WOULD NOT be surprised if there were things equivalent to entities. It's a MAJOR MAJOR long shot, but you never know.
I feel like her true ending is alone. She can't ever be with anyone. Entities and ghost will always haunt her and follow her
i just got done watching all of beyond two souls yesterday man it took me a day to watch all of it n i love it man keep it up man....
If they keep on having that ending when the world is getting destroyed then where is the sequel already

I don't think this is a bad ending. I'd still choose this one over Ryan any day. I don't like the way he had treated Jodie. I like how if you don't chose Ryan's ending it shows the same 'friendzoned' scene lol. Ryan's ending is just so... fake. If you put any woman through that kind of thing, she would most likely be gone. With that being said i like the Zoey and Jay ending the best. Both the homeless people and the Navajo family were kind to Jodie, even though it did take Jay a bit to warm up to Jodie.
Whispered Metsutan He changed and saved jodie. If he really would have been a "douche" or an "ass" he could say screw her and leave her alone. But he cared and loved her.

Aiden is in every ending except the zoey ending.
He supposed to not come back in my opinion. The military are rebuilding the condenser and Jodie (in her nightmare) is seeing the future where the thing that could have happened if she failed to destroy the previous condenser happens.

Among Heavy Rain, Detroit: Become Human Beyond Two Souls doesn't even seems to be remembered as a good game. Even Until Dawn has wider community up to this point.

This ending makes sense of all the ending. Since her memories are falling apart, and never had a "normal" life, she will never become normal. What is normal for her? Now, she has no sense of normality, it is impossible to achieve something normal.

I thought that the "lurking in the shadows bit was the end of it, and I was sad because there wasn't anything "Still Here"-like in the Zoey ending, but then I saw the stuff in Jodie's room going all crazy and I was like "Wait...". Then the "Still Here" showed up on the TV and I was like "Yes!". I don't know why Aiden had to be dramatic about it here, but I, amusing myself, thought maybe was like "You know, I want to tell Jodie that I'm still around and still keeping an eye on her... but I wanna fuck with her a little bit." I mean, hey, they are siblings. Living or dead, he's still her brother, he's allowed.
BTW, about my remark on the Zoey ending, I did consider that maybe the lack of a "Still Here" message was because Aiden did do something, it was just something different. Maybe Zoey reminds Jodie of herself as a child because in a way, she sort of is. To put it better, I don't think the girls have something in common, but rather Zoey and Jodie have some*one* in common. Maybe, for whatever reason, Aiden is now with Zoey.
+Natasha Murray I was disappointed that Aiden didn't come back in the Zoey ending :/ but then I just took it as he felt he didn't need to bc she was happy and already had people to be with and was giving her a chance to be normal I guess.

Some of the endings are pretty good, but I don't like how it repeats the "it was so obvious" and denying Ryan" in all of the endings. They should change it up a little bit so people playing (like me) won't have to watch those parts again if they decide to try all the endings.
I feel like the Ryan ending was the one the developers meant to happen. That's why she keeps talking to him and probably to keep open the possibility of him coming back because he'll "wait for her". I wish they had spent more time in the other ending.

This one seemed to be the most informative/interesting. But Zoey's one seemed happier and not as lonely as this one, even though Aiden didn't appear to say "Still here". And I think it has got something to do with that little girl.

not sure if you did it or not but there's one more ending other than alone,zoey, ryan, or whats his name. There's one more joice... if you choose beyond instead of life. Earlier on I chose an option to where ryan's eye was gouged out through the last episode (black sun) and the second/third rerun, i had it to where ryan died. theres also another one other than beyond where the world is consumed by the black sun. I actually like the beyond because it's a twist where she now knows what it's like to be in aiden's shoes.
the prologue is the part at the very beginning when you have no control over her and when she is talking about trying to remember her life so in other words its like a cutscene or like the beginning of a movie(in certain metaphorical terms)
I loved this serie.. It was like watching a movie. Well done Red Brad and thank you man.

I know that Aiden is present in three of this endings, but I wonder in which way is he present. The purple link they had attached like they umbilical cord doesn't appear anymore, so maybe Aiden is just looking at Jodie like she was looking at all the people she knew in the Beyond ending....

Aiden is with her in the zoey ending to because Jodie said they both have something in common meaning the link to an entity. If anything thats the one where Aiden never left or gave Jodie the feeling that he was gone that is why there was no reminder from Aiden because it wasnt needed. Thanks brad for making the series enjoyable for an xbox 360 player that wishes he had a ps3
I think the ending where she chooses the beyond fits the best. Hopefully you put that up for others to see.
I think it must be when she was trying to remember her history in order, which is why the game is played in random areas of her timeline.
At 2:12 you can see the diner from Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy).
I really think that this is the most logical ending. Because (unless there are other universe, terminator style shit and stuff), you have really gone to SO MUCH stuff, that you can't really satisfy every part; Ryan winded up being good (for Hollywood, anyways), but it was fake as hell. Jay was kind of better, the chapeters were you are there didn't put a focus on the relationship between them. The Zoey one i found it to be the most heart warming one, because it wasn't really romantic love, it was more like family (and can make for decent sequels).
Now, i think this is the most logical ending, because it doesn't focus too much on one part of the incredibly complex plot (wich has many wholes, hence the post apocalyptic ending that appears on every final ending), and it does't obliterates the past and the ghosts part of the game, and it really feels like he has control of his life, without puting aside Aiden.

I just completed this one hell of a game, i choose this ending it was really really heartwarming and emotional on the top most creatively made..Also, AIDEN LIVES!

I like the ending with jay when aiden said in the mirror and wrote *still here* just like this ending but I like the jay one because she is with jay and lives with native americans! so cool living in the dessert!

Well, the ending of the endings shows a hint at what is to come in the sequel with a post apocalyptic city and the huge vortex. In one of the endings, there was another woman standing beside Jodie, which might be Zoey.
The Zoe ending seems to give a better understanding of what is to come later in a sequel. Only 5 other endings to get. Others just have a small difference such as different people alive or dead.
I love the part when Jodie went back for Jay! Favorite!!!!
What she said was true we do have some of us do have spirits that follow us around and a few of us can see the too. I have a shadow person who follows me around and I've seen him and talked to him and have hear him talk to me before. I've learn to accept that he's there and that he follows me. I've had one friend who's seen him and another who has one that follows her around too
I might be the ONLY ONE, but I love Jodie and Ryan together.
I used to hate him and I wanted Jodie and Jay to be together, but then I played the game and watched the scene where she's on the roof surrounded by angry locals, then she's saved and Ryan picks her up. I literally fell in love with having them together with that short scene. I'm a trash can, I swear. 😂😂

Brad, there is one more ending (i think), back when shes in the rift and she can decide if she dies, or lives, like so he can see
God damn it, why couldn't this be a movie. It would even been even better as a movie
she died in the fire and was brought back to life and she died at the black son but was also broght back to life

zoey seems to be my favorite, even though she doesent get aiden back, it seems like maybe he is with the little girl now, imean she does have to prepare her for the end, and did mention somthing about her being the only one that can stop it

with ryan and the preservation dude and alone jodie gets aiden back, but if you choose zoey she doesnt get aiden but zoey does and she trains zoey.

if you ask me, this is the most logical ending besides from choosing beyond. jodie nerver had a normal life, so this fairytale endings seems quite strange and forced to me. she knows that she will always be hunted by spirits and as well the CIA.
with this ending, she chooses what i think every woman would do after she had to endure such a shitty life. choosing aiden, lerarning all about spirits and helping people while she is searching for the true meaning of her life.

I think her first death was when she got hit by a bat by some greedy person during the homeless scene, and her second death was when she was chose to go beyond or life while destroying the containment field.

I don't think Aiden died, just that he got a lot weaker, hence why he uses sand and mist in the other endings. He is very well alive and tied to Jodie, in my opinion
