So after many months of being upset by spoilers, I finally got to watch the rest of season 6 lmao. I've missed these two so much I was squeaking in ep 20. And it's really sweet that they've missed each other too. Like with my ruined stydia soul and them acting like they aren't dating and can't even hold hands after not seeing each other for so long, sterek saved the finale for me. also I so wasn't expecting malia to get with scott, I'm like... okaaay. and seeing jackson and everybody was also fun, but I still don't get why creators seem to hate stydia so much. This is not how you behave when you're in love and just started dating someone. Like legit sterek was flirting in this episode and the ones who dated weren't? Okay, I'm not getting mad again xD Let's talk about good parts...
Anyways, these two gave me boost to vid, I'm also still laughing at the fact that stiles was missing derek so much in s5. I didn't expect him to be so angry and upset. I was like what's this? lol
I saw this and started rewatching season 1. Wow I missed this show

I love the way that throughout the show, they have subtle hints that they may end up being something more, even if they don't make it canon. I mean, Stiles is the most affected by Derek leaving, and when Derek was injured and nearly died, they made sure to highlight Stiles hesitance to leave him, unlike the other characters (expect for Peter). The ship had so much potential and it still does even if the show is over.

1:26 that look stiles gave derek tells everything. teen wolf made a big mistake by not putting them together. The whole characters in the series knew the tension btw them. when derek said goodbye everyone looked at stiles coz they knew it would be sad for him without derek. evn there are scenes in which they both starring each other's lips. they were so perfect and iconic. they should have been end up together.
Details like Stiles looking at Derek's name while writing his own or Stiles being the only one staring at Derek when he was injured or these two trying to protect each other at all costs and other countless moments worth mentioning...This kind of things could've happened between Scott and Derek since they were brought together bc of their superpowers and for the sake of their packs, but uhm no, they decided to create something special between these two. They were definitely more than friends, for me they had the strongest bond in the entire show, so apparently we were on the verge of getting Sterek but something got in the way I guess??

My guess it was Jackson leaving the show. I had a theory if Jackson stayed him and Lydia would have stayed together and he would have joined Scott's pack through Lydia but they had to scrap that then I thought perish and Lydia but then Derek left because he didn't want cameos he wanted to be more involved so they had to rework it again

Scott said that coz in the scene Stiles was so sure that Liam was a bad guy (even though this time he was right)

The closest thing to that information that I've ever seen is one of the first comicons interviews where Tyler P says that if people are watching TW for Sterek, then they are watching it for the wrong reason- and I'll admit the way he looks and the tone of voice he uses TOTALLY had me convinced that Tyler P was afraid of getting the spotlight stolen from him more than it already is

Derek and Stiles have come a long way from being just a chaotic duo. They bonded with each other in a way no one in the show have bonded.
