Instead of getting a light inside, there's a USB Socket on the top. So we plug in a flexible USB Powered Light (like students plug into laptops to light up their books) and when the door is open, we shine the light down into the fridge. Then when we Close the lid, we shine the light down on a cutting board we put on top, so we can see what we're doing.
When MAX starts flashing push the setting button again to change to ECO
Thanks, Great review, for the amount of camping I do this is perfect, don’t have a gran for “The Brand” lol.
hey if you're sleeping beside it will you hear the noise? Im a light sleeper so if it makes some noise all the time, I rather just pay more one quiet one. Like an Iceco?
I'm wondering if it's normal for the power consumption to be jumping back and forth like that.
Great overview! This sealed the deal for my purchase, thanks!
No way this is crazy I was just looking at this exact fridge right now on Amazon lol Great video man definitely might get one for our Honda Element.
Thanks! Glad I could help✌🏼
@@OverlandNomad Do you think my Jackery 240 would power this ?
@@ReadySetElement yes
@@bcrames1215 Thanks for sharing 🤙
Thank you bro. Great price and consistent. Thinking about getting one.
Can’t beat it! I also believe Robert aka El CoastalGX has one as well…
Seems pretty legit, man. Thanks for the video. I get to see whats up with a mini cooler.
Thanks for the shout out son 😉
This would be great in my GX when I travel all around these state parks here in East Texas...thanks for the good job reviewing this fridge...It would come in handy around Port A as well..
Thanks Thomas✌🏼
That's pretty interesting. I've been fine with a cooler for decades...but a fridge that I can put food (sandwich meat, salad, cheese, ground beef) that will NOT get wet as any ice melt occurs is nice. Thanks for sharing!
Exactly! I’ve always been happy with my Yeti other than I’ve had food get accidentally get soggy on trips
Can you leave it open and use it as an AC in a van in Florida?
Is it still working good?
I gave it to my friend that has an 18 wheeler and has it in there. No complaints so far
Perfect price...maybe for you cuz you got it for free!
Ain’t that the truth brotha
I discovered by accident that to change back and forth between Eco and Max, first unlock it and then press the Eco/Max button twice rapidly. That isn’t mentioned anywhere. So far, I love this fridge!
Price and how it works, brand doesn’t matter👊🏼
It does not look like has any tie downs, so it would be hard to mount.
Good point Duncan!!
Iceco for the win hands down!!! not worth replacing cheaper ones every year
Just bought one comes with 2 year warranty and you can buy an additional year. Just picked mine up at the post office today. Hopeful it will be good for at least a couple years
@@mountainman9555 have had mine 6 months no complaints so far!
$289 is cheap? 🙃
