I drive my worktruck mostly in the winter cause it has all my tools in it. Next week, I am taking my Jeep for it's first oil change. Will get it done then. Install is pretty easy...as long as everything is squeaky clean...
so funny how all of you are complaining, even if they showed you how to wire youd still complain he literally said word for word what to do, if you cant tap a wire to the fuse box and ground it to your truck, you should not even be looking at something like this, stick to the ones without the lights😜😂

it depends on how you take it off. If you grab the piece and just pull up it will damage the paint. use fishing line to seperate the main paint from the truck and then tackle the tape that remains
Great question! That keeps the wires in place so they don't rub the abrasive edge of the bug shield and wear through over time. It also keeps them in place during the installation.
I did not see the part where reversing the light bar so wires will reach til after the fact. You think ripping it off and drilling the hole will be better or just splicing more wire so it will reach?
I would do the wiring first. You can use some shrink buttons to reconnect it. I'm not a huge fan of using fuses to tap in so I'll probably use more wire than it has.
Be nice if it was.plug and play.I'd prefer screws to hold this on,so it would be really secure,and could be taken off easily.I don't trust tape lasting long in the environment.
Wiring will have to be ran where you think is best. Either to fuse or if you’re vehicle is like my jeep there no fuse for turn signals or park lights. You will have to straight wire
Hey Adam, if you need to remove it, heat it up with a hair dryer and slowly pry it away. Waxed dental floss can be helpful to work back and forth between the shield and the paint. Hope that helps!
Hey there! We haven't heard any reports of noise from this product. Driving this Silverado, I didn't notice any extra noise from the shield, but we also have all terrain tires that make a little more noise than factory. If the shield makes sound, it's less than the tires, and that's not much. Hope that helps!
I just purchased one and installed on my 2020 Silverado. The lights causes interference with the radio reception. I checked the wiring and even used an external battery. I love the look of the shield so I'm going to keep it without running lights. :(
I liked the aggressive look on my Silverado but there's a lot of wind drag that are affecting speed/gas/performance. I'm definitely debating on returning the item.
@Miguel, If you're experiencing hood shake, that means you have gaps along the bottom edge and the air is literally trying to rip your hood protector off your truck at high speeds. Try closing your gaps along the bottom edge, and I'll bet your hood shake goes away.

@@--emt Cost me about 75 after I took it to a local painter. I see a video of a guy who did it himself for much cheaper. The red pearl coat complicates things and I would spend to get it done right

Look up how to hook up a led light to the fuse box. That will help you out

I know in my case when running the wires there were plenty of F bombs, so maybe that's why he left it out.

They dont mention that for the wiring part you will need to buy a fuse tab. The positive will be attached to the fuse tab and the black to ground.

Not if you seal up your gaps along the top and bottom ghat won't be an issue, plus it eliminates hood shake at highway speeds.

Yeah my truck use to get 10 miles a gallon. Now it gets 9 99MPG. Sending it back because of the Drag queens.
