Nat Geo or some other Discovery competitor should get Dave and Cody to do some survival shows. Doesn't even need to be super insane like dual survival. I'd watch just an hour of them teaching survival techniques in a controlled environment and sharing stories.
Dave I miss you and cody it looked like you were friends and trusted each it seemed genuine good luck to you and cody the show is boarding now peace brother
Thanks Dave for very educational videos. I've learned a lot. Some of the things I once knew but had forgotten. Other things were new ideas to me and I am trying to learn new skills in these trying times.
Miss seeing you and Cody teaching together. No two people did it better. I've no idea why the two of you don't reunite and start your own show. Who knows? If it doesn't get picked up by a TV network you could just as easily stream it. Grab yourself a couple of sponsors and go for it man!
I would not have recognized him if i saw him on a show nowadays,or even during this interview if not for the video title. He changed a lot since dual survival
Don't be silly.. Ray Mears is a master with bushcraft and survival. He along with Mors are the modern day epitome of bushcraft skill level. I am very surprised someone would act so ignorant on Ray Mears.. he's intelligent, wise, humble, has a profound respect for nature and is an incredibly adept bushcraft teacher, far more skilled than everyone else only coming to a draw against only one other person. In reality one could list the 'experts' in the following manner: 1. Mors Kochanski/Ray Mears 2. Cody Lundin/Les Hiddins 3. Les Stroud/Dave Canterbury/Mykel Hawke
@@1stcSOLDIER Well said mate and fair play for sticking Hiddins in there (he's my favorite of the bunch). For my money I'd say John Plant of Primitive Technology is the GOAT...there is levels to this and he starts from the least and climbs to the highest. It's not quiet bushcraft/survival I know but...it's nearly the same.
Dave you busted Codys balls all the time, only to find out you lied about your experience its hard to watch your shows and take you serious anymore. Sorry to say that but I loved that show and as a Vet I was proud of you. STAY HUNGRY,STAY DIRTY BUT MOST OF ALL STAY TRUE
He embellished man. The guy still has tons of experience just didn't entirely line up with his resume. He still was very knowledgeable and was a great partner with Cody L
Cody DID turn him into a hippie XD ................. but for real LOVE Dave. Him and Cody put on the best survival episodes on TV ever.
Still has his shoes on! Lol
Cody said it one last time before Dave's fired btw Season 2 episode 9 when talks about somethink like tofu and sea cucumber hahah
So Cody eventually made Dave a Hippie, what he never ever wanted to be, interesting.
They were a perfect (Dual Survival) Ying & Yang senario, probably the best dual survival episodes,at least my favorites anyway!
@@donaldsharp3682 True
No one's a hippie like Cody.
Dave Canterbury You were the very best on Duel Survival sir. You lived what you said and said what you lived..can't ask for more than that.
