After Qui-Gon vanished, Anakin started to cry. Deep down, he knew what Qui-Gon was saying was right, and little did he know, he would learn the hard way
Qui-Gon: So you're telling me that you murdered a bunch of children based on a half-promise from someone who admitted to manipulating the whole galaxy into a devastating war?
@@tgmartinTbf I don’t think anakin was gullible more so desperate to find any way to save padame. He knew palpatine was manipulating him and was already planning on killing him once he figured out how to save padme
Anakin Skywalker betrayed everything he believes in. So that he could defy fate only to ensure it. The price to pay for seeing the future without seeing the whole picture.
Qui-Gon: _-Anakin, how could you trust the one who unleashed a war that lost trillions of living beings while manipulating both the Republic and the Separatists at the same time?_
SHHH 🤫 That makes too much sense for Anakin. Just blame Mace and most will get on board with that. It seemed to work with Dooku as just like Anakin he was a mass murderering hypocrite.
I always thought he was so desperate and so just really wanted to believe him. I don't know if that makes sense, but that's what I automatically assumed when watching the movie.
Anakin knew that, but his fear of losing Padme had consumed him to the point of severe desperation. After inadvertently helping Palpatine kill Mace Windu, Anakin felt from the moment he had already crossed and unforgivable line and didn't deserve to return to the Jedi, so he decided to go all in with the Sith. He figured after Palpatine taught him what he knows, he'll quickly kill him and become Emperor and rule the galaxy with Padme. We see how that turned out lol
I wish that the author of this video had Qui Gon agreeing with Anakin about the Jedi council, and having him acknowledge that the Jedi were wrong about a lot of things and that they had indeed let Anakin down, that they had lost their way long ago.
I feel there needs to be a followup to this. Anakin sees Qui-Gon's ghost again after dying and being redeemed. Anakin feels ashamed for how he treated the master he never had all those years ago on Mustafar and feels he can't face or see the other Jedi that joined the Force. Qui-Gon though explains that Anakin's did fulfill his destiny and that it went beyond destroying the Sith. The two sides had been vastly out of balance with each other with the Jedi losing sight of following the Force's will and, to an extent, served the Sith unintentionally. The Sith were trying to manipulate the Force to their end and he came about to bring an end to them. He had fulfilled his destiny by destroying the last of the Sith and giving the Jedi a fresh start to grow, learn, and be more adaptable as opposed to the rigid ways of the old Order. Convinced, Anakin follows Qui-Gon to see the Jedi spirits and look upon them.
Double comment, I wish this ended with Qui Gon retorting as he leaves “I don’t speak as a Jedi, but as somebody who left the Jedi, to become one with the force”
Qui-Gon: Anakin. You've forgotten me! Anakin: Nooo! I would never forget you Qui-Gon: You've forgotten who you are, so you've forgotten me. And if that wasn't enough, you've forgotten your mother too. Anakin: Enough Qui-Gon: Is this what your mother wanted for you? Is this what Padme would have wanted?
I know Anakin was desperate, but it wouldn't have required much thought to realize that Palpatine was behind everything he fought so hard against since the day he was freed by Qui Gon. And that he orchestrated the attempts on Padmé's life.
If Qui Gon didn't die, Palpatine would've have a harder time manipulating Anakin, Kenobi was too young to guide Anakin, he needed a father figure not a brother.
@@holyflame2 Exactly and to add to this Qui-Gon wasn’t so blinded with the Jedi Dogma that even Plagueis feared the Sith Grand Plan would’ve been uncovered by him.
This scene should've been in ROTS. Did Anikan learn the power to stop death? I don't think he did. Sidous didn't know either. He was just manipulating Anikan.

The biggest fault most people have, is that they shy away from philosophical debate, they feel it makes things way too complicated then they need to be. On the contrary it cuts to the very heart of the matter, by dissecting issues and fact to expose them to the light of truth. All explorations, whether physical or psychical, are at their best, philosophical🖖🏻🌹
Forgive my ignorance, I don’t know what limitations you have when making these, they are very well made and respect the characters and lore. However I feel anakin should be very angry and emotional here, his eyes should be red with sith influence, similar to your video with darth malgus. Qui gons voice was spot on though, he expresses wisdom, calmness, and sadness at the same time which is appropriate to the situation here. Hope you continue making more. Best regards.
Honestly if George was still in control of Star Wars and saw this he may have retcon this into revenge of the sith and say this is the reason why anakin cried
Probably so. Ive read that palpatine FEARED quigon, way more than yoda or windu because he had his mind in the right place. He firmly believed in following the will of the force, he did not let the jedi orders politics and rules govern him. Because of this he would have helped anakin when dealing with the fear of losing padme, matter of fact he would approve of the relationship. Attachment was not the enemy, its fear of loss. This alone makes him so hard or even impossible to turn to the dark side. This mindset would later be seen in grandmaster luke skywalker (legends version, not the whiny disney version).
@@BCC-cc8lz I wholeheartedly agree with you, if only Qui Gon had been able to reach out to Anakin through the force and continued to guide him things would’ve been different.

I think Anakin is fully aware that Palpatine is using him, he just sees him as a means to an end to be free from the Jedi and save Padme. That kind of hurts when Anakin tell Qui-Gon he betrayed him. What he meant was he looked up to Qui-Gon, he was his first Jedi friend if not his first true friend, and then he was gone, wasn’t there to guide him and watch him grow up.
I don’t believe this could have happened. I think it is cannon that Vader was shocked when obi wan disappeared after killing him in A New Hope. He did not have any experience with force ghosts prior
As someone that owns the book of the sith, that has read the bane trilogy, that walked in the dark and the light in kotor ect ect ect.....this might be the first time i have found someone that walks the same path as I..... The sith aren't the only order in the galaxy twisting the force for there own ends..... Gin was right on the cusp of this, a near grey Jedi.... The sith are right in one thing at least "the force can self regulate itself and has for millennia, a little Jedi in a temple somewhere meditating doesn't effect the force in the slightest" and the Jedi oh the Jedi they have fallen so far from the Jedii they once were, the Jedi's intolerance and lack of temperance of the sith twist them into mere political tools in every era.... As if some corrupt senators can know the will of the force.... The force is change and while the sith try to control that change, the Jedi end up trying to resist the change....
