We diagnose a bad running issue on a Craftsman 28" snowblower with a Briggs & Stratton 1150 snow series engine.
The customer complained the unit was surging without the choke on and would die if in deep snow.
The unit runs fine if the choke in on about halfway.
When we pull the carburetor we find the seat is puckered so it needs a needle/seat and bowl gasket kit.
Should we rebuild it or just replace it? Should you use an OEM or aftermarket carburetor?
We replace the carburetor and get the unit back running righta
