A special shout out to the piece of rice that clung onto my glasses for the outro . Did you see yesterday's video ? ua-cam.com/video/oHyzn-_oVbI/v-deo.html
Tio's Tacos...a strange and somewhat sad place Adam. It seems to me that it has the ambience of "was" about it. On another note, I thought you might find interesting this UA-cam video that I recently discovered which presents the notion that the movie CAST AWAY has a shared meaning to your favorite film, BACK TO THE FUTURE! The insights and analysis presented are definitely intriguing! Check it out... ua-cam.com/video/nVtZox4LBOI/v-deo.html
WildCard Journeys lol what no way man. Yes that movie is horrible but yet if you watch it as if was a comedy it is hilarious. Plus I did most of the leg work locating the places on google street view. 😆
Hey Adam!! Enjoyed watching this a lot. Looks like a really cool place to visit. Yum!! Those tacos looked really good. Thanks for giving us a tour. Always enjoy watching. ❤️
My grandparents phone number was one number off from Tios Tacos, they would get 3-4 calls a week from people asking "Is this Tios tacos?" , It became a family joke we would call each other and say "is this Tios Tacos"
What creative reclamation/reuse! Necessity really is the mother of invention. Whenever back in L.A., I try to hit Lincoln Heights' Carnitas Michoacan for a killer burrito. Next time, I'll have to go dn to Riverside & try a taco from Tio's. Happy Memorial Day, Adam!
Great job! I go there sometimes. I live within about 30 minutes. The food is very good and plentiful. The workers are very nice. Love the crazy artwork! So very cool. I just love this place! Highly recommend going there. So fun!
very very cool place. would love to visit and eat someday. and by the way,for all the non spanish speaking friends, Tio is spanish for uncle. so its uncles tacos. pretty cool. thanks for sharing this video with us dude.
That Guy or Woman must have a lot of time on their hands that would take a really long time to do, unless it was a collective effort. Pretty Crazy Stuff, but anyone Who *Knows* Crazy. Crazy is always a Mask of Brilliance. Great Vlog Adam. Have a Goodnight. #ThumbsUp for the Video.
Those "roots" are called clovers and they aren't growing out of them they're a seasoning. They're great for putting in a ham 😊 everything Thanksgiving and Christmas that's my favorite seasoning
WOW... what an eclectic place!!! Glad you got back and enjoyed your tacos, Adam. Do you realize how many places you've gone that we want to see now, especially those from your Route 66 trip with the Carpetbagger?... You're a walking tourist guide.. .Have a great, safe Memorial Day, Adam the Woo.🤗
I do love these lesser known one-off eateries. Hoping to put out more content featuring these types of places over the next few months. Well done my friend.
Just down the street from Mission Inn hotel. Beautiful old building, many presidents stayed there. Meandering corridors, giant moving figure clock, castle like doors. Fourth floor is a must-see: halls are outside on the roof.. courtyards, fountains, all with old castle feel
I was watching your vid from yesterday and my husband walked behind me and watched it over my shoulder without me knowing so when it ended and he said "I'm glad he is making videos again." it scared the crap out of me.
That character on the ground that you pointed at, asking if he was eating a sub- is actually a character called El Chavo Del Ocho and the sandwich is called a Torta. Specifically, he loved Torta de Jamon (so ham sandwich ). Just in case you wanted to know for real 😊. And the guy in the Red missing the hands is El Chapulin Colorado (red grasshopper) and the guy in the barrel is again the character El Chavo Del Ocho, the barrel was his home- these were all characters from a show called Chespirito (Little Shakespeare) and quite a few were played by the same man.
Yey1na's Journeys to add to your description, the guy in blue with the "no hay" hat is also a character on El Chavo Del Ocho named Don Ramon. Good show. Mexicos most viewed and one of the longest running shows.
Easy E - you are right! I didn’t see Don Ramon. Thanks for pointing him out. I loved that show as a little girl (still do now as an adult lol). Ahh childhood memories. 😁 Kiko, Prof Girafales, Doña Florida, La Bruja, Chilindrina. And all the other characters and skits 🌷💗♥️
very strange place seeing those classic 90s happy meal toys..i saw a few that i still have😂 reminded me of the haunted doll iland"proven to be haunted" should go back to this place on halloween to see if they make it a haunted trail small bird fight..fighting over the chair for what ever drops on the ground
Cool! You were in my neighborhood. Glad you had a good time. If you ever want another cool story go to Castle Park. It was made by the guy (Hurlburt) who made the mine and log ride at Knotts. If you go on course 1 and when you get to the mountain hole look inside and you can find out what happened to the old mine ride mannequins.
