Father Alim Gasimov and his daughter Fargana Gasymova sang it. Both of them are People's Artists of Azerbaijan. This very ancient Azerbaijani type of singing is called Mugam. He is very ancient. Mugam is over 7 thousand years old. Alim Gasimov is not only known in Azerbaijan, but also in about 70 countries of the World. He conducted his solo concerts with the performance of Mugam in almost all countries of Western Europe and North America. And still he is invited every year to France, Austria, to the UK. The Lethargic Sloth - - - - - - 1st comment. Thousands of years pass and people forget the story when they moved to other places. People in the world could sing Mugam. Because many people spoke the only language. After moving to other places in other continents, many people gradually began to forget their former language and culture. Mugam ( Muğam) - now in the East it matters as “Magam” (that is, the current meaning is “Level”, “Position” - but this does not mean some kind of “position”). . There is much in common between the Azerbaijani and Hispanic worlds. Therefore, between Mugam and Spanish Rumba - Flamenco, which the band Gipsy Kings sang also have ancient common roots. They both came from Mugam. How did this happen? This happened twice in the history of Spain. First, with the arrival of the Arabs in the VIII century in the Pyrenees Peninsula, that is, mainly in today's Spain, in Portugal and in the southern half of present-day France (708 - 732 years). Then the Arabs lost the south of France, but settled firmly in the Pyrenees together with the local population and remained there for several centuries and exerted some influence on the culture of the local people. The ancestors of the current Arabs (or rather, the Kureishides, the Hashemite tribe from whom the Prophet Mohammed was born) came to Arabia 5500 years ago from present - day Azerbaijan, or rather, they first arrived in the southern side of the Arabian Peninsula, which was called at that time and continues to be called Yemen. Then, after 2,8 thousand years, some of them, from Yemen, moved to present - day Mecca (they were descendants of Kureish). They carried with them the ancient culture of Mugham chants. Now many peoples of the East have Mugham - in different forms. The Uighurs call him Mogam, the Uzbeks Makhom, the Turks call him the Maqam, the Hindus, the Persians, and the Afghan peoples also have their own similar style to Mugam. But even before the Arabs, 6700 years ago, Mugam was known from Sumerians (in Mesopotamia), 6500 years ago, Mugam was sung in ancient Egypt. The Mugam Triple are three musicians. One of them plays a stringed instrument or a wind instrument, the other holds a round tambourine (Ghaval), and the sapling sings. Remember, in the clip, while singing, Alim Gasimov raised one hand to the sky, and held the other hand behind the ear (in the normal state, they keep a round drum in the back of the ear). So in antiquity, 7300 years ago, in Oderbagdan (in ancient Azerbaijan) the Most High was exalted. That is, Mugham is a very ancient religious chants, the singer who took the highest note with a low-frequency vibration fell into divine ecstasy and acquired divine energy. What happened 14 thousand years ago is in the territory of DURAN (this is a small closed territory, where about 5,8 million square kilometers were sunk only to a height of 120 meters). The world, which was flooded to a height of 4000 meters, was located in the ancient country of ODERBAGDAN (Odərbağdan). This name was formed from three ancient names. In the word ODER (ODƏR) - the first syllable of the OD - denoted the name of the ancient region ODALAN (its inhabitants were Odels), the second syllable ER (ƏR) indicated the name of the region ARAN (ƏRAN - its inhabitants were the Erey (Ərey) ). The word BAGDAN (Bağdan) from the third part of the name of this ancient country - meant its name entirely, and it was three times more than the first two areas. The area itself BAGDAN, in turn, was divided into two provinces: 1) BAGHAN (BAĞAN), 2) BAGHDAY (BAĞDAY) ..... The inhabitants of this third region were a large tribe of BAG (BAĞ). Odels, Ereys, and Bags - all three were called ODER together. The ODER people was an ancient people consisting of three tribes - of which many nations of the world were formed. The word Bag (Bağ) - in its name now in Turkic languages and in languages of some other peoples of the East means GARDEN. That is, "Garden of Eden". The tribe Bag (Bağ) - for many months formed in its name and on this name changed their shape. So BAGS then became known as Mug(Muğ), Mook (Muk), Mag (Maq). The word “Бог” Bog (God) in Russian takes its roots from the words “Bag”, the word “Bek”, “Bey” (bəy, bay) the name of a noble title in the language of many Turkic peoples takes its roots from the words Bag. The Bagh tribe - that is, the MUGS, because of their supernatural capabilities - in the eyes of other primitive peoples either began to be considered gods or wizards (the word MAG (Magus) - wizard comes exactly from here). Mugs (Muğlar) invented religious chants MUGAM (but earlier, 12 - 14 thousand years ago it was called BAGAM (BAĞAM), that is, it meant “I BAG” ). The province of Bagan (Bağan) later became known as Mugan, and the province Bagday (Bağday) later became known as Magda, and then there the Empire of Mada (2600 years ago) was formed (which the europeans preferred to call Media). The name of the city of BAKU 8 years ago sounded like BAGOD (meaning “Fire of the Garden” - that is, “FIRE” (OD) here meant the Ancient Hidden Science). The name of this city is written in the Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead (the age of the book dates from the middle of the 4th millennium BC. That is, it was written about 5500 years ago).

Mugam is a very ancient art of chanting which is the common heritage of almost all famous peoples of the World. Just many people have forgotten them. The second time it happened when the Gypsies about 750 years ago arrived in Spain (they came from India 870 years ago), they renewed the memory of local Spaniards who remembered a little Arab vocal abilities, which was also based on the development of ancient Mugham. In India, too, Indians sing their Mugam. But most of all the ancient Mugam was preserved in Azerbaijan (it is closest to the original, ancient Mugam). In Azerbaijan, he is taught in academic form at the National Conservatory named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov.
