    Approximately 2 million people in the United States will develop plantar fasciitis at some point during their lifetime, and 10 percent of runners will suffer from it.
    Good news - you don’t have live with plantar fasciitis pain long! Treat your pain while you sleep, using our sleeping boot for plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis.
    Wondering why you have heel and foot pain in the first place?
    These connective tissues often develop microtears throughout the day. Then, while you sleep, unknowingly pointing your toes, your foot begins to heal in that pointed position. The next morning, when you take your first steps, you retear your fascia and/or Achilles tendon tissues, causing sharp, stabbing pains.
    How does this brace work?
    This night splints innovative design holds your foot at a 90 degree angle or greater while you sleep, allowing your foot to heal properly throughout the night.
    How do I put on this night splint?
    To apply this boot, undo the convenient, quick-snap buckles on the 3 straps across the front. Then, with the boot resting on floor, place your foot inside, sliding your heel snugly against the back of the splint. insert the optional, foot-flex wedge underneath the liner, beneath your toes, for additional plantar stretch. Fasten the bottom strap and adjust for a snug, yet comfortable fit. Repeat to attach the remaining 2 straps.
    As you adjust to the boot over time, gradually tighten the dorsiflexion straps for greater stretch. Make sure both sides are even.

      Cheers for the Video! Apologies for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Taparton Walking Foot Takeover (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one off product for Getting Rid of Plantar Fasciitis without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my close friend Aubrey after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical success with it.

    I bought 2 of these for my plantar fasciitis. They're great. But my pain was enough in the evening that I began wearing them when I got home from work, walking around. They DO say, don't walk around a lot on them. But It felt better for me when I sat down and got back up again to wear them. One of the brace's straps snapped from my excessive walking. Its my fault. I have one still for my bad foot and I bought a different boot for daytime walking. GREAT product overall, REALLY does help with little to NO pain the in the morning. I used to have to hobble and limp and bounce along the walls when I first got up in the mornings.

    I have been using a Strassburg sock but I've been unable to wear it all through the night because I have poor circulation an my toes get numb. This does not look as if it has the same issue but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had experience with this and Strassburg socks to compare the two.

      For the record, I ended up buying something similar to this. It has made a huge difference to my recovery and is nowhere near as uncomfortable as the Strassburg sock. For those suffering from Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis, I recommend a night splint boot. As a keen long distance runner I've also been using insoles that raise the arches of my foot. This has been a winnng combination!!!

      Yes, when I wore this it helped my peroneal brevis back to 100% normal. After 8 weeks of agony. But the 1st night, my big toe went numb. The boot was too narrow. Its was too tight on the width of my big toe joint. Switched to the sleep splint that goes on TOP of the foot. 1st night sleeping with it & it really is comfortable. I should be well & hobble free in a week or 2

      The stretch is too deep you need to lessen it and build up gradually

      @@user-yp6qt6yd1q can you elaborate on that comment? What would you do instead to stretch plantar fascia. Like in yoga when we are one knee in a lunge, they do this top of the foot stretch that I don't have the strength in my plantar movement to curl the toes. What would you do to strengthen the foot?

    Hi I don’t know if any one can answer this but I have to wear a splint like this and I just got it and have been wearing it for 2 nights but my hill won’t stay in place and the ball of my foot is becoming numb from pressing against the splint how can I make that stop it’s pretty painful

    • @dw6015
      @dw6015 3 роки тому +1

      Step one, put the splint in the closet. Step 2. Put a tube sock on half way or just over ankle. take the dangling part of the sock and pull it up as so that your foot is in similar position as it was in the splint. Step 3. Use another sock to tie the dangling sock in place on your shin. Or try cutting another sock so that it is literally a tube , scrcunch it up and put it on your leg just under your knee and tie the other sock to that.

      I had a similar experience. Your foot may not be ready to be in a 90 degree angle. I had to loosen the ankle strap so that I could find some relief. I move my feet a lot when I sleep so it has been a challenge! Last night was the first night I kept mine on all night, I have been using the brace for a week now. I also experienced a lot of foot pain starting out, but think I am ready to start tightening the ankle strap a bit so that I and start working toward the full 90. Good luck!

    Can you answer me.
    I've had mine for 2 weeks now.
    I've asked my foot doctor but he didnt answer me.
    My heel lifts when I'm laying down in mine. And I have it as loose as it will go. It causes me to not have good blood flow in my toes as well. How can I adjust it so my heel stays snug in the back of the boot without lifting when I lay down?

    • @Braceability
      @Braceability  4 роки тому +2

      Hello, having the strap around your ankle tighter will help keep the brace snug around your heel.
