Man, I unknowingly slept on this games existence up until literally yesterday and I'm instantly hooked. In a way I'm kinda glad I didn't find out about this game till now since I don't have to sit there and go, "is it out yet?" Every two minutes. It's right around the corner, and I'm for sure buying this game.
Definitely, good thing I started coverage of this later than usually, otherwise time would be going even slower.

Have you played the first one? If not I would recommend you try it first, it's usually less than $10. And from the look of things DD2 is very much just DD1 rehashed. DD1 is a cult classic for a reason, it's not actually popularly liked. So I'd be cautious about dropping $70 on this game, it'll likely be somewhat controversial.
(I say all this as a fan of the first game-I will definitely be buying the sequel, myself)
Can't wait for the release, hyped!!
If the pre-order weapons are like the first one they are on par with about level 15 weapons.

I absolutely want to play this. But with the massive reports of heavy peformance issues and 30fps PS5 performance I may wait until holidays. I’m sure those that don’t mind performance issues or sub 30fps will have a blast, I just can’t do that anymore. GLHF in DD2 all!
I have heard about fps drops in cities and such, but waiting on release so I can see it and review performance as well. Seems it's very CPU heavy

87 for sub 30fps game with no performance mode is crazy

This game just keeps getting better and better. Have to get the PS4 version of Dragon's Dogma 1. I always get anxiety and OCD if I don't start the 1st game in a franchise/series.
Based off my experience with the game, as someone who usually can’t play older games bc the looks and feel, you’ll love it. I did at least.

1500 Rift Crystal is poor peoples money, Basically 100% useless. I am sure pawns are gonna cost insane amounts.
Pretty much yeah, going for higher level pawns than yourself, its like 5-6 levels in DD1. Probably good for new players so they can hire more pawn in case they want to optimize their party vocations.
Since the game releases for all at the same time New Zeeland thing won't work. The "dates and times" released will differ so all start at the same time/moment.
It will for ps5 it releases earlier but just not oc

@pkdsince05 yes it did. Started at 4am this morning my time(SMT). but... just lost my save because of the new loading system. Went to load my save from last Inn I rested at but, none of them registered. Back at lvl2 first camp 😭😭😭🤮😵
