That deepcut Simpsons reference and the unbelievably helpful nature of this tutorial is more than enough to get +1 subscriber for you, brother! Thank you!
I loved this! Just an idea but what I'd love to see is some POV footage with some commentary on your thought process when dealing with certain sections of the wave.
I generally find that people learn faster by focusing on good technique rather than on the mistakes -- I don't even want to demonstrate mistakes because I don't want people to visually imprint them. I just try to positively imprint good form.
Appreciate the feedback Kenji! And I do agree to an extent. Positive feedback and reinforcement is great and necessary but part of the learning and improving process is also identifying things that we can change/work on 😊
@@attembrah 100%, as a beginner+, knowing what to do is obviously helpful, but knowing what to avoid (what bad habit not to take) is almost as much important Thanks for the help
I've been recently working on my back hand buttom turn, and when leaning to the lip although trying to turn hips and face to the face, I've found it hard to move and often overrun tbe lip with leaving tbe wave behind me. What would you recommend to do better? :)
As i age , and crawl towards death I am constantly trying to compensate for ball swing weight. Perhaps a saggy balls tutorial is in order?? Or is that a bucket of frogs? 😂. Great work. Appreciate it. Be well. Get waves😜
Best bottom turn tutorial out there!

So I have a habit of paddling in and fist thing I do is grab my rail and crank it over but is this a bad habit or is it just simply part of my style?
Depends on how fast the wave is to where you can place your bottom turn.
Cool
it is possible to do a fast bottom turn with a 7'0 foamie?
Absolutely! Jamie Obrien at pipe on a 9 foot foamie is the perfect example of that!
I can do awesome backhand bottom turns but absolutely suck at forehand, I can never rotate the board enough or I bog a rail
I like view this 😊
