I actually watched Pirates recently in memory of Johnny's love of playing the character Captain Jack Sparrow. Too bad the likelihood of seeing the end of his character's story is unlikely and the franchise will sink without him.
This literally brought me to tears to see the way he is with all his fans and knowing that these big companies didn't trust him and abandoned him the way they did. Makes me so sad and I hope that he gets an apology from them both and everyone who ever doubted him 😪 We love you JD ❤❤❤

As someone who got to meet the man, he’s bloody amazing at boosting morale and motivations, I was in the hospital for cancer, and was watching Pirates of the Caribbean nonstop between 06 and 08, next thing I know is he’s visiting me and got to see him again a year later 2020 arrived and I’ve got my Sparrow tattoo in memory and celebration of being cancer free for so many years

The character of Jack Sparrow that he created is by far one of the best characters ever created. The detail from his costume to his being. Such a joy to watch him. What has been done to him was abhorrent but he will rise like a Phoenix. After this trial he will be reborn and even better than he was previously.
He really was that character. He chose the hat, wanted the dreadlocks, the eye liner right down to a reindeer bone attached to the hair. Every ring he chose had a story behind it. He was Jack Sparrow.
What is so amazing is the studio executives, never believed him and right up to the first test screenings, they were still not on board! So that says alot about Disney! They’re not a company that be trusted as they proved ,as they threw Johnny under the bus, treating him guilty even before the trial!

It's an interesting conundrum though. Technically, despite Depp being the heart and soul of Jack Sparrow, Disney owns the rights to that character. If JD were to continue to visit sick kids as Jack Sparrow, would Disney stop him? They probably could but what a PR disaster that would be for them if they did.

It’s just so overwhelming to me to see such a brilliant and successful man be still to this day bashful and humble with his fans. He radiates such genuine sincerity and gratitude that it never fails to bring me to tears.

Johnny Depp is such a pure and kind soul. You can see that he genuinely enjoys meeting people and making them laugh and have fun. We don't deserve him.

JD used to carry a flight case with him that contained his Cpt Jack outfit . If he had time he would go visit a local hospital & dress up to entertain the kids. Unlikely to see that again.

Depp and his team would do random surprises in hospitals all over California and wherever he went it is in fact true that he brought his costume because in certain countries they pay huge $$$ just to have the actor dress up and show up to their little kids rich party.

I love how much fun he has surprising fans. Things like this may be part of the promotion he is required to do for the movies, but he honestly seems to enjoy it and has so much fun with it. Disney made a huge mistake, no other actor out there could fill Captain Jack's boots the way Johnny did.

You can tell how much he appreciates and loves his fans and I've always heard he was a nice man to meet personally. I never thought it was about money for Johnny, he's just a brilliant actor that got with the wrong woman. I see a huge comeback for Johnny on the horizon after all of the nonsense is over with his trial. Amber Heard's career will go down the toilet as it should. I believe Johnny Depp is one of the best actors of all time and although he has some substance abuse issues I think he'll be back stronger than ever. I honestly thought he should have won an Oscar for Sweeney Todd. The only musical I ever really liked besides Little Shop of Horrors.
