I have a Tiggo 7 Pro Executive and city driving averages between 8.6 to 8.9 liters per 100kms. On the long road I get it down to 8.3 to 8.6. I'm happy with this as this is a heavy vehicle with a high performance engine. Seriously, good luck getting beter consumption in the same class on other manufacturers. If I get above 550 kms per tank, I'm happy. I did a long trip to the freestate 2 weeks ago and got 620 off the full tank.
I am looking forward to seeing what the car is doing on the long road to KZN. I'm getting a bit nervous as I'm buying one hopefully in two weeks' time. But your videos have been helpful!
I'll be driving down to Hibberdene side myself in Durban at the end of Dec. I'm going to be doing few vids with my ELITE TURBO CVT SE as how the drive is and the fuel consumption and pros and cons on a long drive like that.
Hey there, Did you get it at last? I am obsessed with the T4 and I am reading on everything I can but this fuel story keeps coming up so would be keen to hear your views.
The fuel consumption gets better the more kilos you put on it and depending on how you drive. I actually made a vid about the fuel debate on the T4. Maybe give it a watch and see my opinion.
Hi I get 7.3L to 7.6L/100km for city driving. On a longer trip over the holidays it went down to 6.5L/100km. I have Tiggo 4 Urban witb 2000km on the clock.
How many kilos you put on the car and what is your usual driving environment? Stand still or highway traffic? And when you pull away from stop, do you floor it or gently press the pedal to 2000rpm and let the engine & gearbox do the work? You don't need to floor a cvt to get moving and do you drive with aircon on? There are so many variables to take into consideration for fuel consumption and drivability. Hope you enjoying your T4.
Hi. Thanks for the msg. I would recommend the T4 if you looking for a small SUV with lots of features at a good price with a very good warranty. Enjoy your day.
@@theBaldChery thanks so much! I think this is the comment I needed. Been looking back and forth between similar cars but they dont have the same appeal that the T4 does especially for the interior.
Loved your videos. Was on the fence on whether I should consider getting a T4, but now I am convinced :D

Thanks very much. Trying to give as much info I can from a consumer perspective and not a journalist.

@@theBaldChery that's exactly what I appreciate about your vids!

Hi. It all depends how you drive and how you use your right foot. 😄 🤣
Hi
I own a Elite cvt. Fuel consumption is on the high side at 10.8 l per 100km. It is disappointing compared to others of the sort.
