Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean is truly the quintessential theme park attraction. The theming, immersion, soundtrack, story, ambiance, smell, etc. are all flawless. And this track perfectly sets up the mood and energy of the entire attraction.
Subtle Rooster nono, i play the bass clarinet and clarinet im positive that its not, its probably a bass flute tho from the very metalic sound coming from the vibrations and from the breath it sounds there blowing very accuratley instead of into a reed almost as a flue
As a former Southern Californian living in Idaho, this queue loop always brings a smile to my face, even in dreary Idaho winters. Best ride at Disneyland hands down. Will be returning when the park reopens.
Always had the most fun waiting in this ride with family and friends, all the space to laugh and talk in the shade, the music brings back alot of good memories.
I feel you, bro. With Disneyland and California Adventure closed, it is heartbreaking. I can not wait until they reopen and we can enjoy the magic again. Also, we have the same last name. 🙂
I miss the parrot so much 😩 “BLAAAART ! Yo-Ho Yo-Ho!!!” “BLAAAAART Dead men tells no tales!!!!” I just need to hear it in person once when Disney reopens!😢
I used to be scared of this ride when I was little but when I went on it back in 2012 I wasn’t scared This ride is now one of my favorites I wasn’t scared of the animatronics or the atmosphere or the background music I was scared of the waterfall
I had just went to Disneyland in the past couple of weeks and I have to say that of all the attractions I went on, I have to say that Pirates of the Caribbean… coming back riding it for the first time was one of the most proudest moments of my life and I got to ride it twice from Monday to Wednesday. Not riding it in 2016 was one of the worst regrets I’ve ever made and I often feel guilty every time for eight years after I’ve been watching POV videos of the ride. The first drop was only 14ft deep and it’s like going down a playground slide but opposite prior being on a boat. Going on it for the first time since 8 years I’ve been to Disneyland makes me want to forget I lived feeling that regret for so long, now it became my favorite rides I ever rode of 2024. The Haunted Mansion still remains my all-time favorite rides ever til on Wednesday, I went back on HM Holiday, and from the beginning I was excited til, we went to the seance room all the way to where we saw Oogie Boogie and the round thing, and there was no reflection of ghosts in the mirror between us at the end, and I walked out of there disappointed that it wasn’t the kind of Haunted Mansion Holiday I’ve been in, due to the outcry of Covid and they’ve been working on the queue, and you had to go in for a virtual queue… Just, it’s the only one that I felt betrayed that my all time favorite attractions left a very little bit… That I just want to ride the original now. Out of all the rides I’ve been at Disneyland, Pirates was the one of the most proudest rides I’ve been on and I place it as my third favorite attractions!
"This is a 15-minute loop of the queue music for Pirates of the Caribbean as heard at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland." AND Disneyland Paris also. You can hear this music in the second part of the indoor queue.
If you look up "Pirate Overture" which is the queue music, it actually sounds different in real life. The bass is lower, pitch is higher in some parts.
_Ye come seekin’ adventure and salty old pirates, eh? Sure, you come to the proper place. But keep a weather eye open, mates, and hold on tight-with both hands, if you please. There be squalls ahead! And Davy Jones waiting for them what don’t obey._
@@skunkman9815 A little bit, yeah. My parents would take me on PotC when I was little, and I always hated the little hill at the beginning of the ride. It's a fear that's followed me all throughout my life. I've actually been considering going on it the next time I go to a Disney park, though!! :)

agreed Pirates is a true classic and should never be replaced
This piece is actually called "Pirates Overture"; I got it from the Original Attraction Soundtrack.
Correct!
YES! I can smell the water!! The oboe is absolutely giving me a headache, because it's literally vibrating the walls! Ahh, such strong memories... 🤣
Ooh i think that’s actually a bass flute but i might be wrong, or i may be hearing a different part
I'd argue it's a clarinet/bass clarinet

The echo makes it. I can almost feel the person in front of me standing on my foot.

However, if you're in the front two rows and you duck down you barely feel it. (Went on it twice, it defiantly works if you do it right)
@nick brock I know right??? m a g i c
Pretty much the same with me for all rides like this
I love hearing this music, as it gets me pumped to get on the ride. Thank you for uploading this.
Definitely a contender for being one of the best Disney theme park rides ever.
My favorite ride of all time!

It would also be played at some 6 flags park (Including Fiesta Texas and Over Texas)
I find the oboe part really soothing

Fantastic Ride 😄💕💕
I went on this this at wdw yesterday and I will be doing this again at Disneyland.
That flute from the line queue sound similarly reminiscent of The Jungle Book animated movie. With the flute in it's title/mowgli's theme.

Like to imagine just taking in the pirate's water, the parrot saying yo ho and getting into the boat to see all the pirates🏴☠
