Excited for the bday! Just my opinion but I really dont like inserts and chains that dont come with the bag so as to make it into something else, also I really think that coach makes great quality bags but the ones that came out the last years with the giant c in the front are really tacky for my taste. Just my opinion and everybody should do what they like...not judging anyone here 🙂✌

I live in the US. For a while Coach tried to lower their price with low-grade qualities (I think is because of trying to compete with MK) but recently they up their games and comes back with their good qualities leather. I went to the store and I was so overwhelmed wanting to buy everything they have. Their story is not as crowded as the MK store but believes me, their bags are getting so much better. Although their price went up but with the qualities bags, I love it!
Coach is such great quality and way more affordable for who loves good craftsmanship

I watched many videos about handbags unboxing, just feel shocked that the coach packaging is way better than lv or other luxury brand, coach wraps everything to protect the bag for shipping.

That you for all the info. Very helpful. I do think people sleep on Coach. We are so obsessed by the luxury brand names, we are not looking at the quality leathers and craftsmanship Coach uses. I don’t buy my bags by name brand, I buy them based on what I like and the quality of the bag.

Card slots are such a good idea for the divider for the clutch! I just hope it would be thin enough that it doesn’t affect the amount you can fit inside (since it’s only 3cm in depth, and it doesn’t have the accordion detail like the WOC)

This was a great YSL recommendation Mel. If you do make an insert could you make the card holders optional. I really find they just make everything more bulky. I’m always asking Samorga to remove additional pockets/bottle holders etc as the just add bulk and in a small crossbody like that bag you need all the space available.
I just bought a Coach Tabby in saddle! It’s gorgeous and so versatile. Yours is lovely - so pleased to see You Tubers such as yourself championing the less expensive brands - I consider Coach a luxury brand and their quality and designs definitely rival the really high end brands x
Oh yay! It def is such a versatile and well made bag. Oh definitely as much as I love the Hermes, LV etc I get so much enjoyment from adding a variety of brands and textures to my collection - even vintage bags too (some of the vintage Coach bags are amazing too) xx

Hi Mel, may I suggest that you design a clutch insert with a double strap, so a long and a short one/top handle, something like the LV multipochette? So excited 💕💕💕

Received my clutch in the mail from saint laurent today (splurged and got the matelasse clutch that looks like the college bag, with the quilted bottom) and did exactly what you showed to turn it into the best little crossbody! Ticked many boxes with this hack: new saint laurent, grained calfskin/durable, crossbody, make use of existing supplemental straps/o-rings! I actually don't think you really need the card slots if you have a card holder. Perfect bag for going out this holiday season!

If you work with Samorga on an insert for this, you should make it similar to the kirigami inserts with hardware to make it a crossbody. Looking at the Kirigami insert, there are two pockets. Maybe do one pocket and then card slots where the second one is.

Yes please! I have this clutch and love it! I would love to use it as a crossbody. I don't like threading chain straps under the strap because I think it ruins the leather.

The insert for the ysl would b amazing with card slots or a zipper. Ive been eyeing that clutch ans thinking of just adding a chain to flap but an insert will buy.

I bought the small Coach Shay bag in burgundy that has gold hardware and it’s so slouchy, a bit like how the Loewe Puzzle has that slouch. It’s a perfect cross body bag and the colour is very autumnal.
