All of the lessons Tobi spoke about are really key. The Nigerian factor makes us shortchange ourselves in so many ways. Interesting conversation ❤❤❤

The culture I've heard Toby describe is pretty much similar to the work culture in America, having lived here more than 10 years. Great video!

Honestly, going to the UK with work visa or spousal work visa is the best but then not many people are privileged to have worked with great companies like the big4 back in Nigeria. It’s the reason why a lot of people used the study route to enter the country. Sadly, a lot of these people are now suffering anxiety especially with the recent immigration policies.
    It’s just soo sad

I agree with you Kemi, and that’s why I’ve done videos on both visa routes. I don’t endorse the educational system here at all from what I’ve seen so far and wouldn’t advise anyone who’s looking to get a post grad degree with the sole aim of getting a job.

Enjoyed watching this, thanks for sharing valuable content as always. Can she please name some of the agencies/agents she talked about that assisted with the Big4 recruitment?

Glad you enjoyed it. The recruitment companies aren’t publicised. I believe Big 4 have those companies that monitor applications on their website and help to organise interviews. I applied on the company’s website but it was someone from the recruitment agency that scheduled my interview. So I would say apply on the company’s website directly.

Hi Fisayo. As always, I love to see you on my screen with your amazing content. I don't know if you remember, I once asked if could connect me to any Nigerian/African doing a master's in accounting in the USA. You responded but I didn't quite follow up. Please I still need this favor. Thank you☺

      Thank you for watching!
Ofcourse, there are a lot of Africans in several accounting MSc programs. What school are you looking at? A good place to find people is LinkedIn
