Got s9 fe with stand for 140 bucks with cracked phone trade in. Something about not paying a lot makes me not enjoy the s9fe...
I initially considered purchasing the S9 FE 8gb model for $500, which comes with a free slim keyboard cover. However, after viewing this video and several others about multitasking on the S9 FE, I saw comments on occasional lags, particularly when resizing apps. I'm a student planning to transition to digital note taking and already factored in my student discount only to find out that the price of the S9 FE is still too steep for the hardware its packing. Looks like I'm going with the s8. Thanks for pushing out this content.

I know this video is on the tab s8 but what are your thoughts on what the launch trade in price will be for the s23fe when the s24 comes out? I have an s20 and thought of trying it out for the great deal ($350 for me) but I'm afraid to jump the gun in case the s24 leaves me wanting one.

I was thinking about getting the S8 but then I saw that currently in my region the S9 is literally cheaper with better specs (S8: 256GB + 8GB RAM for 819€ vs S9: 256 + 12GB RAM for 780€). So I got the S9 instantly. I'm so hyped for it to arrive
Great content. Made me feel better about owning my Tab S8. The only feature it should have had that Samsung went cheap with is with it having a TFT display as opposed to an Oled. I just bought the Tab s6 lite last night and after using my Tab s8 for nearly a year, I'll be taking my Tab s6 lite back. You're correct. The Tab s8 is a beast! Response time is unbelievable compared to the Tab s6 lite.
It's actually a very good time to get a tab s8. I bought mine at $340 refurbished April 2024. Because its snapdragon SOC is quite less efficient than the new one, plus OLED vs. LCD, everyone is setting eyes on the newer tab s9. You can find one in amazingly good value. Plus, it's about to update to one UI 6.1 with AI functions.

Yes. It's still a solid tablet, depending on what you are buying it for. Plus that oled is beautiful on it.
Its shame in India, s8 series isnt available. We are still getting s7 and s7 fe series and then directly s9 series and s9 fe series

Between the tab s8, s9 and s9 FE, which one do you think will be the most "reliable" /stay "reliable" the longest? I got the s7 2 years ago but it started to malfunction a couple weeks ago. I got it specifically for my university studies so it's important to me that it keeps working smoothly. Warranty hasn't expired but they don't sell the s7 anymore so I might have to choose a newer model and pay the price difference. The dfference for s8 would be €50 but for the s9 more than €250 and I don't really know if it's worth that much more... S9 FE is less than I originally paid for the s7 though but I'm concerned about the performance, I don't want anything les than the s7 I'm used to😅
Did you come with a decision?
They told me it would take 3 weeks to send my S7 for repairs and couldn't offer a replacement. Since january was exam season I didn't send it for repair since I really needed it for my studies. The issues I had disappeared so no problem I thought...
3 days after my last exam, 8 days after warranty expired my S7 got stuck in a software loop after trying to install a software update. It's completely useless now. Went to Samsung service center and told me they couldn't update it either so they suspect the motherboard's defect. Shop i bought it says they've only seen it a few times before on a phone and I got unlucky and have to talk to Samsung. To me it's unacceptable that a €700 tablet is useless after only 2 years of use without any clear cause so I'm gonna file a complaint to get my tablet replaced😢
Is it ok for drawing purposes? I'm kinda in a loop choosing this over ipad. But i dont really enjoy ipad os.
A TA of a certain course asked to right my name on his samsung tablet for attendance purposes, and when I held the pen and wrote my name on the tablet, gash the feeling was way better than drawing on an ipad with its dictated pen. So I decided to get one and it ahould arrive next week

tab 8 plus and higher has the oled screen
the screen and sound are not all that much better than a $240 Lenovo P11. I compared them side by side and its better but the gap is way smaller than you would expect considering the massive price difference. But of course you get double the RAM, a better SOC, the S pen and that kind of thing. But basic users could defenetely get away with cheaper tablets costing half as much.
Ye when people don't understand what software and hardware differences make.
@@fremzter not everyone cares, i can use either machine and enjoy the same. Actually the battery lasts longer with the P11 in my experience using them both in real life and in normal use.
