My Pan America has turned into an excellent touring bike. If they make a street fighter that setup would work. For a Mini Pan America they need to ditch a lot more weight. Its needs to come in at 430 - 440lbs to be even close to competitive and that's still porky.
I think the Standard Roadking will be back with the 114...the Roadking Special will be gone because of its price point being too close to the Streetglide and Roadglide. I think Streetbob will come with a standard five gallon fuel tank and the softail standard with the 107 will be gone. The Ultra full touring bikes will be gone and tourbox packages etc can be added to the standard Streetglide and Roadglide. Another Sportster type bike will be added to the lower end Sportster bikes. All the rest will just be color changes.
HD is so boring and overpriced, but that Pan America Sportster looks cool I recall Matt Laidlaw accusing Indian of Copying HD Well now HD is Copying the Indian FTR-1200 ..
@@mikeskidmore6754 Indian can only copy and revive an old brand to save their failing one. I wouldn't buy an FTR1200 but I'd try one out to see what all the hype is.
@@BehindTheEnthusiast I almost bought an FTR. Biggest Problem is it would take a lot of Fabrication to add luggage to it. I like the Buell Super Adventure , but it has a steep fork rake and 17" front tire. I may go with a Yamaha Tenere 700 instead. The Indian FTR-1200 is an Upgrade to me 2008 Buell Ulyesses. Victory Motorcycles were doing OK, Polaris bought the Indian Trade Mark and the Indian Models sold so much better than Victory thanks to the Nostalgic name. Polaris, Harley Davidson, and Arctic Cat all have the same Investors, Black Rock .. Vanguard and State Street. Don't forget how much Harley's sucked until Indian came along with much better handling bikes and better features for a slightly lower price and HD had to drastically upgrade their bikes.

Eric Buell was an HD Engineer, but he left HD to build his own two Stroke 500 CC road race bike . Then they changed the rules to allow 1,000 CC Four Strokes to compete against 500 CC Two Strokes. Then when Buell put some of HD's old Race Race Department motors in his Frames.

They did have a Badboy springer bike for 3 years in the past.

I think they will come out with the new bankruptcy model and it will be powered by the old tried and true taxpayer bailout engine.
