I'm a Fashion design Graduate and I am so happy to have found your channel. Your instructions are so clear plus with your soothing voice I feel like I want to learn everything from scratch. I'm new to using Adobe illustrator so I'm figuring it out as I go and I had no idea you could use the path finder in such ways, hell I had no idea how path finder even worked. I just use the pen tool to draw outlines and then I use it again behind the lines to fill the colors. It's double the process haha. I have always been more comfortable using Procreate as I love to draw a lot and find illustrator a bit limiting in that area. Where do you sketch stylised illustrations? Do you do that o illustrator as well? I feel like it's more time taking to work on illustrator than on a drawing app. I would really appreciate if you created more fashion sketching and illustration tutorials like this one. I can't tell you have informative and easy to follow this video was. Being a fashion designer myself I feel silly to not know these basics.

Hi Aishwarya! I’m so glad you find them useful! Regarding your query, it depends on the video. In this one, I’m just using the trackpad on my laptop actually. I’m usually using a Wacom tablet when I draw on Photoshop as the brushes have a pressure sensitivity there. But almost every illustrator tutorial is just the trackpad on my laptop. Hope that helps!

Here are some ways you could try to find and reduce the opacity: 1. *Using the Transparency Panel:* - Go to the top menu and select Window>Transparency to open the Transparency panel. - Once open, you’ll see a field for Opacity with a percentage value. You can adjust this percentage to make your object more transparent (lower percentage) or more opaque (higher percentage). - Alternatively, select the object you want to change, and then adjust the opacity value in the Transparency panel. 2. *Using the Control Bar:* - Select the object you want to change. - At the top of the screen, in the Control Bar, you should see an opacity option where you can adjust the transparency of the object. 3. *Using Appearance Panel:* - You can also adjust opacity through the Appearance panel. - Select your object, and go to Window > Appearance. You'll see an Opacity option there where you can adjust the transparency. Hope that helps!
So I'm trying out the new 3D options in Illustrator (Tech. preview) and all I am getting is the error: "An error occurred while processing the appearance of an object" the object is just a rectangle. Is there something I'm not doing correctly? please solve my problem

How did you reduce the opacity to make the image visible? I cant seem to find what you did to make the opacity bar come up so you could reduce it 😢
