- In this video I am near Alva Oklahoma as the 2022 winter wheat harvest is in full swing. In this video I am out in the field with Walter Farms and Harvesting from Alberta Canada as they kick off their annual custom harvest season near Alva Oklahoma.
In this video they are running 3 of their New Holland CR9.90 combines with MacDon Flex Draper heads in the wheat field. Also in the video is their Fendt 1038 tractor pulling an Elmers Manufacturing 1300 grain cart hauling the wheat from the field to load Walters fleet of trucks that will haul the grain to the local grain elevator.
I shot several wheat harvest and farming videos while in the area so I have lots of great content from this area coming to my UA-cam channel.
Thanks for watching and feel free to Like,Comment and Subscribe.
I am also on Instagram, Facebook & TikTok @farmhandmike.
Nice to see New Holland and Fendt for a change. Thanks
I'm mainly a Gleaner guy when it comes to combines but New Holland will always have a special place in my heart. I love the styling of their cabs.
The black fendt with the grain cart doesn't look too bad👍😁 cool to see new holland combines at work😉👍
It is terrifying to contemplate the price of food coming our way when learning of the overhead and crop climate struggles worldwide. Blessed be the farmer and us all!
enough corn is burnt for ethanol TO FEED THE WORLD
Nice to see something other than JD or Case, thanks Mike you do a great job 👏
Thanks I do my best to video all of the makes
awesome wheat harvesting # as i understand the harvester separates grain & straw & throw straw on ground #
I like getting to see the big yellow combines. Doesn't happen much on YT other than Jeff Reymonds Channel.
Mr Remond is awesome! I run a bumblebee machine as well.
Walters never used to run NH. They always had a mix of JD and Case before.
One great video on Walter's harvesting I actually know them personally from my years in the harvest circuit
Don't know why, but I really like the look of the New Holland Combines
Bic lighters
They would look way better if they painted them blue like their tractors.
Very high level of maturity and responsibility in this young driver, I am sure his dad is very proud of him.
I started harvesting full-time at 11. From Texas to Montana.
Great job again mike. You cover a lot of territory,a lot of crops, and a lot of information.Stay safe God bless you all!
That Fendt is one monster looking tractor. Those tires are something else.
Thank God for this harvest. Wow. Great job.
Great video Mike, watching here in England it really wet's the appetite for our harvest to start (approx 3/4 weeks away but not on the same scale), really enjoyed that shame it wasn't longer but that is really some set up, wish I was salesman when they come into the dealership to order the new seasons equipment. Stay safe and well.
Great video Mike combines and trucks look great and the young follow driving the grain cart was doing a great job 👏👍🇦🇺
That Fent tractor looks like something of of a mad max movie, cool looking tractor.
Great Vid🚜🚜🚜👍👍👍👍👍👍
That black Fendt is really a monster!
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
I love those New Holland combines they don't get the recognition that I think they should
I would just like that I appreciate all your videos . I hope you continue to make more it shows you dedication and pride. In what you do keep up the good work.
Thanks and I have lots of great stuff already filmed to edit and lots of good farms lined up for future videos
Great video. Thank you. I was mesmerized. Really beautiful.
Very cool video Mike. That Fendt & grey Elmers grain cart is a nice setup. Drone footage 👌🏻. Won't be long till the young one doing grain cart duty will be combining.
good year for wheat nice vid
Ive done this exact setup in Farm Sim before...pretty sweet to see in action!
Gosto mto de seus vídeos, parabéns. 🇧🇷
I got family in Cherokee I love that part of Oklahoma
Nice video the wheat seems to have been yielding pretty good even though it looked stress and the black Fendt was sweet 🚜
I think it is lucky we don't have a beast like that tractor as I think I'd be taking out gateways and building though those tyres certainly fit well with the tractor and I dare say helped with the wet conditions earlier on
Great Video as Always.Love the Fendt 7 New Holland Combines
Hello! Always fun to watch these guys...
Another masterpiece of video shots. I think this video is the first time I saw a grain cart split a unload between two trucks.
I like Mike 👍! Happy subscriber 😊!
great drone footage mate....we see all angles of cutting and unloading....but what i would like to see is to watch that grain tank go from dead full to dead empty in its entirety.....seems no one has managed to cover that little detail as yet!!!.....cheers from Queensland Australia!!!
Hello Mike. I love your videos, thank you for taking the time to make them. I am curious. You mentioned that the grain cart holds 1300 bushels. How does that work out considering that is a lot more than a semi can legally haul? Do they just not fill the grain cart full most of the time or empty into more than one truck?
Hello I love the video
I was out there last fall there was a lot of beans more than I remember when I was a kid
They trucked over the road with 75 semis with super B's, harvested with 20 combines, and, farmed 65,000 acres.
Can't wait for Colorado when we get to see those beautiful 12 Claas Lexion combines doing work. Great video Mike.
Thanks, I'm not hearing good things about the wheat in Colorado. I understand with the drought things are pretty bad and won't be much of a harvest.
Good one Mike. Ready to see the X9 video.
Another great video brother keep them coming from the imperial co California.
Awesome video thanks for sharing ❤️
Top looking header.
Great video good to see you again mike
Great job Mike! It looks like a tough crop down there this year. Not the wheat I am used to in that area.
great video mike
So professional, I love this video
Hello young man you are doing a great job
Great vídeo Mike.
what a setup
Great video Mike!
Mike, what are the custom harvesters charging to cut wheat and other grains???
Very great video
Those Canadians flying American Flags on the equipment are they staying for good? Also you need to go to Braum’s and get a banana split.
Oklahoma is a beautiful state with awesome people, to bad you can’t show the diverse terrain of the state.
I wish I would have known you were in town… I would have taken you to lunch at our local restaurant. We live in town near Wheeler Bros
Good video.
I hope they make half away crop here in North Carolina in 86 we had 100 year drougth 15 bushel of wheat. No fall crops To harvest 2 inhces of rain in 8 mouth.Broke a lot of farmers
nice video Mike...thought the Fendt would be flying the Canadian flag ...lol
The funny thing is, they're out of Lethbridge Alberta. They farm on the rez.
Thanks Mike for another great video. Do you know the width of the tyres on the Fendt tractor? They look impressive!
I know that country up there real well. I’m almost certain that’s east of Alva, and on the south side of 64. If you go a ways further east before the Cherokee cutoff there used to be a really good bbq place. They had excellent calf fries 😁
Yep, towards the end of the video I saw the tree line, and the white tank battery with the two blue rings. That’s a Chesapeake well. I built the pad and lease road to that well.
This was north of Alva and just a few miles south of the Kansas state line. Are you talking about the BBQ place in Ingersoll I think it is? Ive ate there a few times over the years.
@@farmhandmike that’s it! I haven’t been there in years. There used to be a cattle trailer washout next to it. There’s also a good Mexican food place on the east side of town north side of 64. I’ve got some good friends that farm west and north of Alva. I spent years up there chasin rigs. When it gets wet up there it’s a mud hole. Not fun in the winter either.
In 09 I had a sample plate there. The sausage was just a hot dog. Technically they were correct...but I was underwhelmed
@@peteparker7396 I have family in Cherokee I ate there last fall it was excellent
I wonder what the test weight is on this crop?
Hi Mike 👍🇰🇿
I heard on some channel or other that no matter how dry it's been it always rains right before the harvest.
Yup, it seems that way. Especially in Texas.
Do they cut for the Kelsivics in Eastern Colorado?
How does Walter Farms transport their equipment from Canada to their starting point and then back up as they harvest through the Midwest?
They have a video somewhere on UA-cam showing the equipment being hauled down the road.
With semis that pull trailers...they most likely have to double back a second time too. Harvesting is very redundant.
Jaki plon pszenicy?
What kind of drone do you use ?
I used my DJI Mavic Air on this video. I have several different DJI models though
With the price of diesel fuel now a loaf of bread it’s going to cost Six dollars
Fuel is going to at least $10 a gallon soon. LOL
Great videos Mike
