here's your killer track, baby!
AJgreenman HELL YEAH
AJgreenman Jon Hamm did such a great job and was easily my favorite character of the film
That action scene is possibly the most satisfying to watch in the whole film
AJgreenman last stand perk
Definitely one of the best final showdowns in a film recently
This was always an important song when they played live as Freddie was able to change his outfit during the guitar solo.
Lol
Freddie had enough time to start a whole other carer in that time lol
Ye thts what he did at the hammersmith odeon performance
And possibly get a suck job.

Everyone’s talking about Brian, but can we appreciate Roger’s drumming on this track?
seriously
damn right, man...
Especially the outro. Dang it's incredible.
Roger once stated that this was the hardest number for him to perform live.
I read it on Queenlive.ca - I'll try to find the exact page
I'm really glad baby driver used this in their soundtrack, not enough people know about queen other than their greatest hits albums
Joshua Grahm not entirely true, almost everyone knows the likes of Tie Your Mother Down and Love Of My Life, which didn’t appeared on their Greatest Hits album.
They easily could make a double cd from that era with songs like Keep Yourself Alive, Stone Cold Crazy and It’s Late amongst others
I'm glad they also used underrated cars like the Impreza, and many more!
Theo Berendsen - Tie Your Mother Down and Love Of My Life were live staples, crowd pleasers. Most people who have seen their shows knows those songs by heart. Now mention Son And Daughter, The March Of The Black Queen, The Fairy Feller’s Master Stroke, Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Lilly Of The Valley and a lot of people will not have heard of those even tho they’re amazing songs.
Until I read your full name I thought this was my comment, until I realised I haven’t watched this before XDD
@@sta5011 it was a WRX, but in its genes it is still an impreza, just a little modern
Love how effortlessly he slides from falsetto to normal strong voice: *its so good to know there’s still a little **_MAGIC IN THE EAAAAH! I’LL WEAVE MY SPELLLL_*
I don't think he goes in falsetto in this
Starts out falsetto, then transitions to modal voice within the first verse, among other places.
Honestly it's my favorite part!!
It's so incredible how effortless it is. You'd have to practice that for YEARS to get to that level of vocal control, yet, Freddie almost never took any vocal lessons!
that little bit is the best part of the song imo. at least it's my favorite. the guitars are really strong too
The beginning, as Brian's guitar emerges, Freddie when he sings "magic in the air," John's bass omg, roger's drums are so epic here, all of them when they say "Oh rock of ages do not crumble" my god it is so beautiful and you can here all 3 of them so clearly.

I never forget the first moment I heard this song, I was 12 and it was 1977. I was totally blown away and the album Sheer Heart Attack was the first Queen album I heard. Brighton Rock was a symbol of Brian May for me, what a song!
And now, I'm 56, still blown away by this song and this album! アリガトウ!

The Vicious Chicken of Bristol hot space has some solid tracks okay
Hm same darling
That opening riff never fails to send chills down my spine.
Sheer Heart Attack is my favourite Queen album and this song kicks ass!
Oh man, Queen was the whole package. Songwriting, singing, instrumentals, brilliant skills. Each was important to the sound.
you forgot the looks 😍
U forgot beautiful lmao
it annoys me when the haters say "Queen are over rated", they have an amazing body of complicated work with intricate arrangements that most bands could'nt even begin to attempt 👑✊🇬🇧
@@johngraham599675yrs and listening to Queen 45yrs. Awesome music. We have extremely gifted musicians showcasing their craft. Roger Taylor's drumming incredible as are Freddie and Queen. Pheumonal. After listening to great bands I say Queen really top the list. Love Eric Clapton and Cream but Queen as the favourite keeps coming to mind
The most amazing part of this song is where Freddie goes from falsetto to his normal range when he comes to the part singing magic in the air.... He's singing in falsetto, so high most people can't reach that pitch without screaming: and he just glides down the octaves. Stunning piece of singing. It's not him singing one part and then going back and over-dubbing another: it's simply gliding down. Incroyable, as the French would say! It's so good to know there's still a little magic in the air... and the magic happens while he's singing it!
It's a shame that we we don't have a Queen song where Freddie and Roger exchanging their fabulous falsettos. That would be fun
"He's singing in falsetto, so high most people can't reach that pitch without screaming"
Uh no almost everyone who's not bass can reach that, and most women (who are usually mezzo soprano to soprano naturally) can sing those notes without falsetto.
Other than that, have to agree, that transition is absolutely fabulous.
I can sing that high, and I used to be able to hit the high note in bohemian rhapsody, but I cant sing very low at all 😓
@@janslowhand1684 ogre battle
Freddie effortlessly sang falsetto to various other songs, for example Cool Cat, Soul Brother, years later. Or when live, in that case, he did the "vocal gymnastics" on Get down make love (on Live Killers but also on other live mid-70s) that can be found on youtube. Or Under pressure etc. Obviously his falsetto is different from Roger's one, it is fuller, it can also be recognized in various other songs. And perhaps he thought it was more "risky" for a good consistent performance to sing live falsetto.
One of the coolest songs! Sheer heart attack is a great album.
Oh God, Brian's guitar was only 11 years old when he did this to her...
She was to old. I pref 3 or 5, mabey 6.

I'm a new Queen fan. I've loved their singles for years (who hasn't) and now I'm making my way through their albums in order.
I just made it to Sheer Heart Attack and... god damn. Brian May you absolute genius. I had to come and comment about this. I've only listened to this song three times and I already want to erase my memory and listen to it again for the first time. It is heavenly
I remember that experience. I was raised listening to Queen hits (my dad loves that sort of music), but only a few years ago did I decide to properly listen to their stuff. Absolutely fell in love with their first 3 albums, still have more to listen to though
Hi welcome to the queen fandom
My story is pretty much the same... I've known Queen for a very long time but I wasn't like OMG BEST BAND EVEEER but I really liked them. Don't hate on me but it's because of the movie that I started getting totally obscesed with Queen so I did a lot if research and I just fell in love

To go from falsetto to belting so fast is extremely hard! Freddie makes it seem so effortless :'-)
burpie yes the belting seem to have less power when i try to change from falsetto. Freddie was really unbelievable singer
that is because freddie can connect his falsetto with chest voice,he is the only singer known to have that skill
It's Freddie Mercury! The one and only.
i read a while back that he had a freak gene sequence that allowed him unnatural singing abilities. one of the o.g. xmen irl

I'm not the the first to mention it but "Seven Seas Of Rhye" is the final song on Queen II. It ends with a fade of the band singing "I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside" ... "Brighton Rock" opens their next album Sheer Heart Attack... You can hear whistling in the first few seconds of Brighton Rock. It sounds like they are whistling "I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside" ... like a continuation ...
Queen does something similar between the two albums A Night At The Opera & A Day At The Races. The first ends with a gong (BoRhap) and the next album opens with a gong. Not only did their songs flow into each other but their albums did too.
Sooooooo cool. Geniuses all of them.
