This is part 1 of 5. Yes, one of each movie of the Jurassic Park/World saga. So stay tunned for the next videos! Let me know what you think about this new format and if you want to see more of this kind. A LIKE is highly appreciated! Thanks a lot!
The editing is great! I especially liked the part at the end that was the nedry “you didn’t say the magic word” thing except it had your face. That definitely made me laugh! Can’t wait to see part two!
Minor nitpick here but I think it’s important to note that although Achillobator is closer in size to the JP velociraptor than deinonychus, Utahraptor is far larger than both to the point where deinonychus is closer in size. Seriously Utahraptor is a beast of a dromeosaur
Honestly dakotaraptor and achilobator are oddly convenient for the Jurassic Park Universe. In the start of the first movie, a JP raptor sized skeleton is being dug in Montana, now Deinonychus is too small and didnt live there, but dakotaraptor did and is pretty much the perfect size. But theres even more than that, achilobator could easily explain why the raptors were called velociraptor in the first place, the scientists didn't know exactly what species they had before it hatched, so when the 'raptor' hatched they had a dromaeosaur. Assuming they got the DNA from Asia (at the very least in most games raptor DNA is from Asia) they likely assumed that this was velociraptor, when in fact it was achilobator. Hence the large size. I wouldnt be surprised if Ingen just kinda mushed a bunch of dromaeosaurs together and went with the most dramatic name, and I'd guess that either in-Universe theres some debate on the naming of different dromaeosaurs, or that Grant was just using velociraptor as a colloquialism for dinosaurs that resembled it, acknowledging that he didnt know what species it was. But that's a just a theory, a Jurassic Park theory.
I really, really like how you showed all of the differences, including little ones that most people wouldn't notice! I also really like the electronic sounds you used :D
Awesome illustrations! Something interesting to note here is that there are only 7 dinosaurs that appeared on screen (7 being the Parasaurolophus cameo during the Brachiosaurus scene) and Jurassic Park is still regarded as the best movie of its franchise and the best dinosaur movie of all time, despite the dinosaurs having minimal screen time and only 7 of the 15 cloned dinosaur species appeared on screen. It shows that good writing, good directing, good storytelling and filmmaking matters more than just having 15 different dinosaurs running around killing and destroying (looking at you Fallen Kingdom). Despite the dated look of the dinosaurs (and the creative liberties they look in designing them), JP and TLW still treated the dinosaurs as if they were real animals, not generic movie monsters.
"Bien, Sr. Hammond, después de ver tantas inexactitudes científicas en sus dinosaurios he decidido... no aprobar su parque." Jeje muy buen video, no sabía que eran tan diferentes unos con otros.
Plr ejemplo no lograron agregar todo el adn de una escpecie de dino y lo rellenaron con adn de rana y por eso se ven un poco diferentes que los ejemplares orijinales como el mosasaurio que tiene astodermos por el adn de cocodrio
I like that you respet the opinion of some fans about we like the designes of JP (like me) but i really like your animations and draws, I want be like you in the future but I will have a touch to draws to make it look at my stile. You have a big talent :)
That's a reasonable possibility. Supported in part by the Dilophosaurus hologram from Jurassic World's Innovation Center, which was at least JW raptor sized.
@@esmerald6627 confirmed where? In jurassic park the game all the dilophosaurus were smaller too. And the hologram in JW is still not as big as the real dilo...
Still all JP works that followed from the movies depict the Dilophosaurus as a 3meter animal, even in adult form. So they kinda like that size I guess?
Qué bonito es ver a John Hammond andando ahí, todo vulnerable frente a sus creaciones. Ojalá también lo hubieras puesto frente a las versiones realistas. Ah ah ahhhhh 😝😝
I think InGen's excuse for not having their Dinosaurs being feathered despite the fossil evidence showing they were feathered is that no matter how much amber they found, the gene in the Dinosaur DNA for feather development was always missing.
In universe its because the DNA is incomplete, in reality its because big raptors werent feathered in 1993 according to science. And to maintain continuity they kept the scaly look in Jurassic World and went even deeper into 'these are not authentic' kinda thing
I love how you went through the trouble of editing the video as if it was on nedrys computer. It has nothing to do with the video but you did it anyway. Kudos.
I actually like the accurate dinosaurs better. Though I am interested by this whole concept. Like Dr. Grant says in Jurassic Park III, the Ingen creatures are simply "genetically engineered theme park monsters".
yea...even though the real ones are more special i believe...take triceratops for example...what is it? just an almost tail dragging brown creature with more elephant features....real triceratops with more colors and it's real own features make it more special i believe and show the way how different animals adapt for same niche without having many similarities to each other definitely the accurate ones are more interesting
It's a cool comparison,I think your waiting for when Jurassic world Dominion releases and will eventually do a Comparison of the JWD designs to the actual animals their based on.
Muy buen video es de mis favoritos hasta ahora pero lo único que te falto fue el parasaurolophus pero muy buena edición y creatividad al final XD saludos

for those things I think that the JP saga is NOT for people who seek "realism" in dinosaurs por esas cosas pienso de que la saga de JP NO es para la gente que busca "realismo" en los dinosaurios
Think it’d be a good idea to reboot Jurassic Park a decade or two from now, with a movie closer to the book and with scientifically accurate dinosaurs?
@@MichaelSmith-lm6xl I agree. I love the Jurassic franchise, but I feel like we need to move away from the idea that it owns dinosaurs. I’d rather see other dinosaur stories be told on the big screen than see the same story told again.
@@MichaelSmith-lm6xl well, a reinterpretation is legit. a different style, updated.. it would be cool,. never to remplace the original of course, just to have another version of the story. the original will always be a classic
50/50 i mean you can't expect it from the film makers they had their chance with JW a legit chance to make their dinosaurs more realistic or at least y'know feathered and with a very easy explanation, it's in the future they found more fossil evidence and blah blah blah
I mean I guess a reboot wouldn’t be too bad depending on how you handle it but honestly I personally think we need a new, interesting kind of dinosaur related media to be adapted to the big screen instead like Primitive war, Raptor red or Dinotopia. Jurassic park as a concept gets stale after a while and it’s high time new stories get some time in the sun, that and we can also put scientifically accurate dinosaurs in them.
