How common is it for a cow to have twin calves? As always, thanks for taking us along.

In my herd we had one or two sets of twins per year per 150 births. At least that was my experience.

Steven is right on the money! Typically, I might have one set each year(100 cows). Some years I have none, and 3 sets are the most I’ve ever had.
