This Band is SO UNDER=RATED and I don't understand how???!!! I'm a Musician who listens to everything for over 50 years. I know what is Great and what is Sh#+. Lol... I once got sent to Seatlle WA from CA back in 2015 on business. Never been to Seattle. 12 Sales Calls a Day and hundreds of miles to drive up in the PNW. For some reason, Tragic Boogie came on the Radio waves and I was like.......WHAT???!!!!!!!!! Drummer was EVERYWHERE and the whole Groove was so ORIGINAL. I LOVE THIS BAND. Thank You for my Seattle memories.......

I was playing some Hum at work from my ipod and my manager asked who this was and I told him it was Hum. He said "eh, they are alright". Then he told me "If you like Hum then you might like the band The Life and Times". So a few days later he burned a few The Life and Times cd's for me and have been listening and falling in love with their sound the past few days. :D Thanks for posting this awesome video!

Hum, Shiner (Epley's old band), and Failure are regarded by many as the "space rock trio" of the 90s.

I just got back from seeing them perform to a crowd of no more than 50. Jesus Christ these guys deserve better than that.

Pretty souvenir to keep through all the years
    I covet you
    It's coming true
So don't beg for your life; it's shining through your eyes
    And I'm in the mood
    And I love you
Just lay down your head 'cause you're my last hostage
Please don't move 'cause i love you

Amazing transition from Shiner to this! Love this shit! I saw Shiner in Denton Tx. at a shithole BOB venue. They were broke and out of gas but put on an awesome show. I bought 3 cd's and T shirts to help them out with gas.

Mea Culpa is my favorite track....I remember being a fan of this band when I was coming off my Radiohead high and looking for the next PRE-Paranoid Android sound

Allen Epley, singer/guitar comes from a band called Shiner from KS MS. Shiner was probably the best indie math/rock band from about 94 to 2002. Anything he does is great. Absolute legend...

If you are into them, check out "Shiner". Thats Allen Epley's (singer and guitarist) old band. They're from Kansas City where I live. I doubt they will ever get huge. Shiner was around for 10 years and Life and Times have been around for about 4. I dont think Epley wants to go mainstream.
His music defines this style of rock that put KC on the map during the 90's. Tons of amazing rock music was coming from this town then. Most of them chose to fly under the radar. Listen to "Molly McGuire" too.

just found out about this band...really good music. I could say that it shares some similar (but darker) characteristics with another one of my favorite bands 311. I could say that I like the bands sound because i hear some of sigur ros's "space rock" sound.
but I wont cause this stands on its own...good shit!!!

It's always a fantastic memory when you get that moment. I was ecstatic to be one of the artists on the official Failure tribute album. Being on the tribute to your all time favorite band is a proud moment!
