That is a great kit for a small take everywhere type kit in an emergency or even if hiking if seperated from your bigger bag. Nice set up. A water container might be a nice addition but that looks good, it's something everyone should have in a vehicle.. Thanks for posting. Ps, I like that it isn't expensive gear and everyone can put something like this together.
Clean, dry and compact the trifecta in my mind. I vacuum seal a lot! That purchase was a game changer for me for sure. Thanks for watching and take care!
There is some back and forth on how well/if at all they work. Definitely better than nothing but if they do in fact miss a lot of stuff than you can make yourself sick using them. More research to be done on that front.
@AtwoodThreads thankyou very much for the info. I have a couple, but normally carry the Sawyers because everybody in my area carrys them and they work well. I guess I'll have to look more into the lifestraws before putting too much trust in them. This is the first I've heared of them possibly not being reliable.
I don't know how long ago you made this kit, but nothing much has changed since then. Solid kit man.

I never thought to vacuum seal clothing items. That is a great idea and makes them compact.

Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Just as I mastered what I wanted to carry, a little goblin blew it all out of the water 🤣 Now 90% of my kit is his. Amazing what a year can do.
True words brother
Were you implying some people don't like the lifestraw? Please follow up on what you meant soon when you can. Thanks
