What would you call a a beat and track like this?? Got an uplifting vibe and track with some lyrics that have meaning. Absolutely love songs just like this one and wish I could find more.

Somehow they remind me of one another, probably I stumbled across them at the same time in the late 90's or early 00's. Both DSA & A.I.G. used to be close to the Wu camp. Not sure how you call it, but 90s hip hop is probably accurate.

Random filler that I don’t care to transcribe, something about black beat wonder.
Rap Genius clearly is too busy waxing philosophical over the mumblings of some leaned out teenager to transcribe some real old school hip hop so props on being the first that I’ve found to actually attempt to write out the lyrics, I’m not saying my attempt is any better than yours, just a few tweaks to yours based off what I think he’s saying.
To that point, the one line that you had a lot of trouble with is the same one that I got stuck on for a while; “but the wiz mind drivin by women’s lib”
Wiz as far as I have known it to be, means either coke or meth, however after some searching I have found that it also means the equivalent of “king” or “queen”, meaning that the women’s mind has been driven by the women’s liberation movement to no longer see her man as a “king” and so, reject him. Single motherhood is looked at as freedom and unpaid child support can result in the father being sent to prison.

Wis/wiz is short for Wisdom which is Five Percenter slang and means woman, or more specifically, a black woman. So I would agree with your interpretation, especially with reference to the preceding line about the father.
Agree about "Should I hold the fort/Fort (Greene) down or jet". And it is "Do the knowledge; to all things in my circumference", again a NOGE reference.
Finally, I think it's "Yo shorty, two blunts, B/S, one 40" as in 40 oz.
Probably a few more minor things, but we're getting there :)
