I didn't know this when I first caught bugs off a tree (like bagworms and spiders) but you need a step further back, and then you'll be able to catch them. And when I'm bug hunting, I'll slow down and just walk near the trees to keep them from flying off. I also just got a rice grasshopper after I accidentally found a migratory locust. They look similar, but the tails are different for the locusts (look for banded backsides 😂). The rice grasshopper has a rounded head by the way. Idk if we see it from afar, but I just caught everything I saw on the ground. Hope that helps! A cute short video. If you want to hear something that makes those bells so broken, if tou have diy for donation boxes, fill those up qith 99k bells and wait for it to be the hot item, it doubles your bell amount. Yes it is incredibly broken, no it has not been changed with yodates, and yes, it does take a little time to put them in the boxes, but I made a ton with 419 for my turnips (highest had like ever, usually ranges between 100-200) so your amount was very, very good. Most people don't seem to see that spike. I also had a large spike this week though. Only the second time thats happened. Love Flick, had him yesterday. Glad you enjoyed your time on your island!
