Meeeee, in some other district of Karnataka...welll m practicing to avoid intake of unwanted calories... High knee march , arm circles , leg raise, and failed pushups ...these are on my everyday schedule... Else I just sit , slow down my thoughts...introspect..and this can be from few minutes to an hour... and the result is that it's easy to be happy and it's easy to be unhappy too ...only few people choose what's right...and they are the ones who brighten the world...may everyone choose to be happy amidst whatever they are going through... Thanks both of you and your families...🌻 Stay safe everyone...✨ salute to all the people who are sweating for our safety🙏
I practice Yoga and Karate's Shito Ryo art everyday. I have chronic urticaria and it's controlled to a great extent thanks to these two things. Pranayam definetly helps a lot. I do 15 minutes everyday.
Happy mother's day to Jaya aunty! I wanna say thanks aunty for making a New Jersey boy half Indian...😂❤️ Her hospitality is great! ✨ Lucky you Erik! 🧡🌸
I don't know the best analogy. It sometimes feels like watching a seed grow, where day by day you don't see results until all of a sudden there is a flower in front of your eyes. My body has been loosening up and mind is feeling much more energized and clear.
Idk but it's always kinda funny when you do yoga with someone ( at least for me 😅) but I love doing pilates and do it every weekend and glad to see your doing something as well, keep it up 👍🏼 keep us posted. Thank you🙏🏼
Oh yoga with someone keeps me so much more focused. I feel like by myself (which does happen a lot) my mind wanders to all sorts of places or is constantly fighting me to quit.
Hi Erik, I watched few of your recent videos in India.. I appreciate your devotion to the cause of diabetes people around the world. You are self motivated person... As, you are in India please do learn about "Ayurveda" (Indian ancient medicine) which has good results on naturally curing diabetes compared with western medicine. Do consider my suggestion to you. There maybe some divine reasons also, that you are held up here in India... Think about it and utilise it.
I'm curious to learn a deeper level of ayurveda. It seems like there is so much deep knowledge that happens in the everyday food as you can see with Jaya. My stomach has never been healthier and my body is feeling a lot stronger. Would like to seek an understanding of what foods treat which type of ailments or reactions (i.e. when I have a stomach flare up).
Erik Douds Try reading Charak Samhita if available in English. It's the origin book of Ayurveda. Or try some yogic apps simply as every pranayama is not for everyone.
@@ErikDouds if you talk about food treating ailments then that would be the entire cuisine, as all parts of India traditionally used to eat as per the region.... we have different food dishes for different seasons and the change in diet helps us combat the season change diseases..... if you want basic guidelines then look up for Rujuta Diwekar on Instagram, she oftens shares titbits about Indian super food.......
...here's the life of being stuck in a different continent... Whatever the reason of the world may be but I have a crazy thought that Erik and Jaya aunty were great friends in their previous birth... 😄😄😄 this guy and Jaya aunty are soooooo adorable... birds chirping in the background and two people talking calmly and sharing tips for self care...a pleasant start of my day here... Happppppieee Mother's Day to Jaya aunty , to Erik's mom, and to all the kind mother's here and elsewhere... applause to the host family and love you auntyyy 🌼, you look super cool... thanks Erik for adding a healthy video 🌼🌻🌿 looking forward for more 👍
Thank you for such a wonderful message. India has welcomed me in so warmly and kindly, the exact opposite of what most people at home told me to expect

I use headspace for meditation.
I'd like to read a biography about the founder. From skimming articles, know he became a monk and then left it to create the Headspace app.
Love the advice, keep up the great content
Thanks Hiten. Any requests for future videos?
