Their bond goes beyond words. Alex changed everything to be the person Kara needed. Kara never took it for granted, she placed Alex above everyone else. Even later in the show, when Alex finally started creating a life for herself, Kara kept Alex first. It wasn't until Alex basically gave her blessing for Kara to move on, that Kara allowed Lena Luthor to become the new Alex. But make no mistake, Alex allowed Lena to take her role. We all got to witness Alex watching Lena closely, seeing Lena care deeply and willing to sacrifice everything for Kara. Lena only became Kara's new favorite human, but only after proving to Alex she was worthy of it.

Она хотела сама спасти свою дочь, но при этом сделала. Позволила. Люта ру. Который мог уничтожить весь мир, ну то есть, если бы она дала лютеу. Тот камень-то все камень, как он там, она хотела отдать. Ну, сестра Алекс, то есть. Ака хотела помочь сестре спасти свою дочь, но при этом не отдавая камень. Потому что если бы она Алекс отдала камень Лютеру, Лютер бы убил кару. И тут показывается. Отношение сестёр, что Алекс поставил свою дочь, приёмную высшей сестры жизни сестры. Потому что она хотела отдать камень лексу, а если бы камень появился у Лекса Лекс бы убил кару.
Короче, мне не понравилось то отношение Алекс к Кари, когда помните, там серия была 2 или 3 серии было про все камень называется, ну то есть там говорится, а все камни там, где Алекс хотела отдать лексу. Камень, чтобы тот не убил её дочь. Но при этом Алекс знала, что хочет сделать Лютер. Она знала, что Люда хочет убить кару и при этом была готова отдать ему камень. Это было неправильно. Это даёт понять, что она хотела рискнуть с сестрой и всем миром, лишь бы спасти дочь.
I completely see the elder girl's point of view in this, though at some points in her life I have to say that I disagree with her about the views on having a younger sibling, I understand how she made those conclusions, though.
This is about her only female/female love relationship that's remotely virtuous, and virtuous it surely is! Any charitable relationship that's totally celibate and chaste is good is my views, but romantic and/or sexual is disgusting... don't know why I see it that way, because of how we humans are designed to reproduce, and my love of children; but that's how it is, I know it's a contradiction, but I cannot explain the second part aside from the oh-so-too-frequent sexual immorality going on these days, and in resistance thereto. I hate to be unjust, but there it is. I trust you understand.
But this video's not about that, it's about a young lady's bond with her quite alien stepsister; and that, my neighbors, is the excellence of the television series "Supergirl": This platonic, sibling affection that makes up a goodly percentile of the life of these female characters!
This sibling relationship is about the only good relationship these two have, but boy do they have it, and I'm both glad and better off that they do in this story!
