at work I build deairator pressure vessels. inside is a stainless box to hold trays and direct steam. ensuring the cuts are square on the shear, I've never had to square anything or level it. it works out just fine
pull the strings out of your hoodies. a guy at work had his grinder get caught, ran up the string. flipped out of his hand and it broke his jaw in 2 places and cracked his eye socket. and they're flammable too
I have a mate who makes steel sculptures similar to yours. He started out with a stick welder then converted over to a mig. He has never regretted it. He went the gasless way , and is very happy with the results. Have you ever tried mig?
