Best $30 I ever spent to be a member here. Worth the little donation as a thank you for the half dozen times a year I ride here. You missed out on J Line.
Love all your videos. Can you please make a video compariing Bikes from The Warehouse vs youe bike? We own Mountain bikes from warehouse bikes and struggle to ride them on trails like this especially going up hill even on small incline
This is an interesting idea but not a new one. Many youtubers have done things similar in the states. It does mean me going and buying a bike from the warehouse, something I really don't want to do. I guess it can be harder starting on an entry level bike, but we have all been there and the good news is if you can do it on a basic bike then when you get a good one you will find it even easier. One thing I would suggest is buying a second hand 26inch bike. You can buy what would have been a very high-end bike in its day very cheaply. Keep up the riding.
Maybe it's the go-pro effect but those track grades looked 1 grade too high for the actual difficulty... That Double Black looks like something I could do without issue, and I'm a single black rider at best.
I have ridden there. I wanted to go with the guys but nobody ever wants to ride there. Could make a video on my own but literally can't drag anyone else there.
Can the people rating the tracks sort out what is what? Grade 5 used to be the highest. Now we have grade 6 that has nothing that hard on it. Grade 7 next?
Grading is very inconsistent both in NZ and around the world. Numbers 1 to 5 or 1 to 6 , colours green, blue, red, black. Or green blue black, double black. Then red for a pro line. Then diamonds. I often ride black trails that I find very easy through to blacks that are almost unrideable for me. I can't see this being sorted anytime soon. If you put a trail on trail forks you get to decide on the grade.
@@bestdayevermtb2 It seriously bothers me Down south, blue trails range from being easy to rough asf.. all in the same park lol. Theres alot of blue trails that are blacks. Its weird as quite often our blues relate to blacks in the states etc.
Another great mid week special. 👍👍
ill try that on my next visit. thanks Lance
I wish I had flow tracks like there in my area. Looking great. Kudos to the builders.
Good to see another park making a feature. Some cool looking trails in there

You really must. Infact keen to go back.
Wow! What a cool park! And goodness the enormous amount of work that has clearly been put in by the locals... Kudos to them... You're legends.
Yes I was amazed at the work done there.
Bugger you... Now the Taupo Embters will have to go there...Rodney's Jam....🙃😉
Glad you made it down, lance.
Looks fantastic Lance I didn’t even know there was a MTB park there must check it out sometime
Sick👍

I'll definitely have to ride these. I had planned to last week but plans didn't go as planned lol.
You must check it out. I will be back.
Glad you made this as planned to head there soon. Nice to have met you in Rotorua a few months back
Definitely worth checking out.
New camera looks pretty crisp 👍🏻
Gotta upgrade mine for sure ;)
Another good vid Lance.
Keep it up.
Have you checked out Panpac MTB Park in Napier?
Add it to the list if not.
🤙🤘
Not been to that part of the country in over 20 years. I am really keen to do a NZ road trip at some stage.

That should be No bull (shark) to fit in with your sea/water theory. 🤣
Thought about filming in 2.7 or 4k? Gets a bit grainy on the big screen.
Time for 4k Lance
Sorry the picture is no good at your place. Will go 4K but need a much more powerful computer to edit it. Just too tight to shell out the money.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Such a mtb'er response, Everything else is expensive except no budget worries for the bike lol
@@MrSupermugen glad that is clear.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Tax right off, get ya wallet out 🤣
Best one is out the back though, and not officially part of the park (I don't think) - that's the Bullock Track run..
Yes I made a video on that track as well. Nearly fell into the river.
@@bestdayevermtb2 I'll look it up!
Shit lance that's giving rotorua a run for its money, looks awsome. Might have to to the ktm there for a ride 👍
It is a lot smaller than Rotorua but still a cool place to ride.
Nice

I agree with you. Went there again 2 days ago and we all said the same thing.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Have a great '23
Happy 22 for the next couple of hrs.
Crikey We are being spoilt lately, Not complaining though
Have you ever been to Totara Park at all Lance?

Grade 7 = Pro Line
"Don’t know the trails, let’s take it easy” good advice... However it looks more like "absolute send it crazy day”… you scare me sometimes. 😱
My brain knows how to be sensible it just doesn't want to be.😁
10s ride skip,,10s ride skip and again ! if I click I want to see some "continues"riding .
