Didn't think anybody would watch the whole video.. but anyways should have one out from Tower 55 in person in the following week. Also I know it's you Dave :)
Like/Comment/Subscribe/Enjoy! This videos includes all trains that I was able to shoot with 2 different video cameras. You will see the usual Trinity Railway Express, DART Trains, Freights, and Amtrak.
UhnonymisPrsn27 Well, I never was able to get out to railfan during summer which was a bummer, but I shall have a car soon and be able to take myself. Gas is still a bit ridiculous, but still worth it to go sit out and watch trains.
Yes some of the locations are right by the Tower 55 camera hosted by VirtualRailfan. I should have another video out in the following days from the actual Tower and not in the surrounding areas.
Hi! I'm going to Dallas/Fort Worth in two weeks. Which spots would be "better" for photos and video? I want to catch both passenger and freight. Also, would it be ok for me to sit at any of these spots all day?
+Long Hood Forward I've been able to sit all day watching trains at the many locations I go to. Some that I personally go to sit at are the T&P Station, Tower 55, ITC Station, Tower 60 and then Union Station over in Dallas.
UhnonymisPrsn27 Pay to park. My grandfather and I enjoy riding the trains to our locations starting with the DART Red Line at Parker Road Station in Plano. Then we take the TRE over to Fort Worth. A lot you can do with $5
Awesome Video! Watched the whole thing! uprailfan from Railstream :)

My dad and I are thinking about heading over to Union Station this Labor Day. We live only a half hour away from, downtown.

Is the parking at Dallas Union Station free? Or do you have to pay a lot of money to park?
